as if that’s not enough bootlicking, they removed any mention of lgbt youth from our website just now. we have to update our email signatures by Friday
my plan is to just manually add in my pronouns every email i send. if i get fired or written up for that is that like stupid of me?
my job, a pretty progressive mental health non-profit, just caved and removed our pronouns from our emails. and i found out from the head of the lgbt employee resource group justifying it in so tired
i have two weeks to decide if i want another job, attempt to transfer within my org, or “teach anyway and hope it’s okay”

i feel like i have a case to not do my job (teaching sex ed to minors in rural tennessee) as a trans woman right? i’m explaining my fears and concerns to my boss today and i want to sound sure and confident and not “exaggerating,” “excuse not to work,” or “being too negative.”
