it doesn't really make a difference - they'd still care about it just as much even if it was purely a hypothetical, even if trans people didn't exist at all
In a new poll, 15% of Americans said they believe between 1 and 5% of NCAA athletes are transgender.
14% think between it's between 6 and 25%.
Meanwhile, an NCAA spokesperson confirmed that the current number is "effectively" zero

There are only ever a tiny amount of trans people anywhere, but relying on scarcity is actually not persuasive. Someone may say "IDC as long as they stay outta my way", but if their child comes out to them, the threat level goes to Critical. Quantity doesn't matter at all.

You're the first person I've seen acknowledge this! A similar, even more overlooked joke is in Woody's iconic phrase "There's a snake in my boot". It's funny cause...well, let's just say, Woody's "snake" is not in his boot hehe 😏 (great adult humor to go over the kiddos heads)😏

I think I’ve seen this film before (before anyone asks me what this is (it’s Genshiken) no they don’t get together and Madarame is a pussy 😒)
This is sort of like saying autistic people can just pretend to be Normal and get by exactly like everyone else. Most of society can tell whether they're in the closet or not.
