Officers from the Somali National Army claim to have conducted airstrikes targeting Al-Shabaab fighters and militia elements aligned with Laftagareen in the rural outskirts of Wajid district, Bakool region.
According to military spokespersons, the strikes resulted in heavy casualties among the targeted elements. Operational leaders confirmed that military actions across the area remain ongoing.
