False. Nikita loves his teammates and Tampa, where he won two Stanley Cups and three of his children were born. He has a great relationship with Jon Cooper and wished he could have stayed, but negotiations with management did not work out and he will be moving on. The rest is garbage from journalists in Russia paid for clicks…
How do you as a general manager not have multiple discussions with your star player?
Isn’t that the role of the GM?
Kuch doesn’t say a lot but he chooses words carefully. He still cares about his teammates and the city… it’s the “team” that let him down meaning front office
I asked Nikita Kucherov if there was anything in particular that led to him requesting a trade on Friday
“It was never about the money for me. It was more about poor communication and respect. Over the last four months, we have had two conversations.”
#GoBolts
I would hate for anyone to boo Kuch at home…I don’t think this decision was about the city or the fans.
This request was an issue with JBB and management. He played well Saturday, even smiled & clearly still garnered respect from the team.
He still deserves & earned our cheers

I’m no insider but I gotta think
The low ball offer pissed off KUCHEROV, and this is an effort to force the hand of Brisebois!? This might be Brisebois’s job on the line. The NHL is officially drunk 🤣
Rewatching this… you can see his sadness at the end of the ovation by the fans. He’s hurting.
I’d like to say it’s just money… but I honestly think it’s the lack of respect of the organization for his talent and contributions.
I do not blame Kucherov. The timing is awkward and it puts a strain on the locker room. That is my issue.
Hockey is a business too. I get that. Doesn’t mean we have to like the way it goes down.

@Bolts_Cast @GregLinnelli
I agree Gage has not has his best yet this season. He is in the right positions but not shooting the puck. He is differing to Point and Kuch, which he did last year when he played on that line. I felt that last night Geekie added little to the game 1/2
@GregLinnelli Let’s hit restart for the season on Wednesday. Probably unpopular opinion but I don’t think JJ has looked as comfortable or confident this year. Maybe it’s time to try a new partner with Carlson.

Brandon Hagel joins @sportsnetkyle after Tampa’s Game 4 win.
No truer words. Cheap shots by every team to take him out of the game. Hagel will stand up for himself & everyone of his team no matter what. He challenges anyone head to head. He’s not dirty- He’s fair and he’s a true hockey player. Problem is no one else has HONOR like Hagel!
All the players taking shots at him won't fight him, but Hagel would fight any and all takers. They're all a bunch of bitches and cowards. Here's why no one will fight him properly:

The officials the past two games have been questionable. I feel like they come into the game with a preconceived notion that Tampa is the aggressor and continue to off officiate for that narrative.
How is this NOT a penalty on Montreal. The officials tonight have certainly been questionable #GoBolts
