Checking out some Metro League action between storied programs @granthoops & host the Kennedy Cougars of Greenhaven & the Sac City Unified. Both SacBee ranked. Great gym. Kennedy had powerhouse teams under Spider Thomas in the 1980s & 90s and later under coaches McKenna & Fong.

The @grant_union Pacers roll a 13-0 El Cerrito club in the East Bay 36-7 as @JojoMccray1010 and terrific defense leads the way in @CIFState Division 3-AA finals. The storied Pacers will host a state championship in Del Paso Heights next Friday, and it will fill up in a hurry.
