SpaceX is preparing another massive data center project in Arizona
SpaceX hosted a community meeting in Cochise County on Wednesday to discuss a proposed data center campus spanning 747 acres, with power demand reaching up to 6 gigawatts
Here's what's planned:
• Location near the Apache Generating Station on US Highway 191
• Up to 9 massive SI data center buildings
• Construction planned across 4 phases
• Battery energy storage and dry cooling to reduce water consumption
• Special-use application filed under Tombstone Resources LLC
• Public hearing scheduled for December 9
And the scale is very huge
At up to 6 GW, this would rank among the largest proposed data center campuses in America by power demand
SpaceX is continuing to push the boundaries of SI infrastructure development, with ambitious projects across the United States
