Working out establishes discipline that you can use in every aspect of your life.
The gym is my reminder that doing hard things gets easier with practice.

A friend of mine is a millionaire today because he bluffed his way into an $18K contract He was working a corporate job making around $4K/mo at the time A company he got connected with needed someone to run their ads. He had never run a single ad in his life Took the meeting anyway Used terms he half understood from YouTube videos and nodded seriously at things he absolutely did not understand They sent him the contract a few hours later He said he almost threw up when the wire hit his account because he had no idea how to deliver any of it 😂 Spent the next 3 days barely sleeping, pacing around his apartment, opening Chrome tabs trying to learn media buying fast enough to not embarrass himself Then he found 2 real media buyers, gave them a cut to help do the work, and kept about $7K for himself That was almost 2 months of salary at his regular job Client got results. Referrals started coming in. Bigger contracts followed Over time he actually became great at the thing he originally had no business doing Being delusional and confident at the same time is genuinely undefeated lol
It took me 29 years to realize that the cheat code to life is just having delusional confidence.

Unpopular opinion: Working from 8am to 5pm with a high salary is better than having your own business.

My dad worked two jobs and still studied at the dinner table every night. That energy filled our house, and it still fuels me every day. Enthusiasm really is contagious.

Best decisions I’ve ever made was surrendering. Not to say we aren’t capable or gifted, but there’ll come a time when you need to acknowledge that God is engineering, not you. It’s by His grace and mercy that you continue to thrive. All the glory belongs to Him 🙇🏾🤍

Outside, people saw an amazing life. Inside, Desmond Dube says he was dying and did not realise it. Between about 2011 and 2016 he was making a lot of money doing corporate work, but he was not creating. He opens up about the call with his wife that changed things, finally going to see a psychologist, and why so many creatives lose the child in them when they stop playing. Catch the conversation, tomorrow at 12PM, on my YouTube channel. @Dubetv @RelebogilePod #RMPodcast #RelebogileMabotjaPod #DesmondDube #MentalHealth #Creativity

low key, the best time to fall deeply in love is when you’re young. the older you get, the more you learn to calculate risks, guard your heart & question what you once embraced without hesitation. you become so good at protecting yourself from heartbreak that you slowly lose the courage to love deeply. because at its purest, love requires a certain willingness to look foolish. to give someone the power to hurt you & still believe they won’t.
Happy 30th birthday to my soulmate❤️ 12 years ago today I knew you for 2 months & almost got lost trying to get to the mall from our campus to get you a Cowboys beanie for your 18th birthday. I can’t believe we are now 30 and married. 13 birthdays!! Almost half our lives together

This makes me cry, my grandfather sold his farm in Nottingham Road in 1975 for R350 000 which now houses, Blueberry Cafe, Netherwood, Windmills Garage and part of Brahman Hills

the older you get, the more you realize luck is mostly exposure, if you sit in the same place, have the same routine, talk to the same person, nothing new really happens, you have to engage the world to win, travel more. talk to people.
