Because his dad never gave him enough, because he was a nepo baby, he craved attention and used the bullying tactics to get it. But the man is an idiot. Just a fool”

Norway is one of the most democratic and prosperous countries on Earth. Free health care Free college Strong democracy Free press Trump says “Norway sucks” and is a “shithouse country” because it won’t give him the Nobel Prize. Insane. We have a mentally unbalanced president.

Huge respect to the organizers, activists and voters of Brazil and Serbia. These results are due to so much work and they give us so much hope. There is nothing inevitable about the far right.

No, @elonmusk, the U.S. stopped funding Ukraine last year. In fact, U.S. companies make money on American weapons for which we Europeans pay. The more you meddle in our politics and the more you play politics with your products, the more you damage your brand.
Replying to @elonmusk
And some of that US taxpayer money comes back through multiple laundry machines to fund political campaigns in America, which is why you see some politicians caring more about Ukraine than America!

President Trump’s decision to waive sanctions against Russia as Putin continues his brutal war of aggression against Ukraine dishonors the legacy of the late Senator Lindsey Graham and is decidedly not in the national interests of the United States and should be reversed. Putin is a war criminal and only understands strength. Waiving Graham Act sanctions on Russia signals weakness at a moment that demands American strength. Now is the time to stand strong against Russian aggression, just as we did during the years of the first Trump Administration. A victory in Ukraine would be a victory for freedom and is squarely in the national interests of the United States. If Putin overruns Ukraine, I have no doubt it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him. For the cause of freedom, for America’s national security and that of our allies including Ukraine, President Trump should Restore sanctions under the Graham Act immediately, Rescind the diesel deal with Russia and Rally our Allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all. Donald Trump is a compromised Russian asset and a traitor to democracy. Americans get out and vote to save your constitution, vote to save your democracy from a long dark road to a fascist dictatorship and financial slavery on par with Russia. This is his plan. Fight.

I deeply regret that the US threatens to impose new sanctions on the International Criminal Court. At a time of war and multiple conflicts, we need, more than ever, an International Criminal Court that can fulfil its mandate free from political pressure. bit.ly/4yaMDQw

Doctors are now fighting to save the lives of people injured in the Russian strike on Kramatorsk. As of now, 30 people have been confirmed killed, and sadly, that number may rise. The Russian bomb effectively hit two city minibuses. Some of those killed have still not been identified because of the severity of their injuries. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Another 18 people were injured in the strike. Residential buildings and cars were also damaged. This strike will not go unanswered. Russia is trying to destroy all life in Donbas, and a response from the world is a must. A forceful response – exactly as the Russians deserve for all the deaths they have brought. May all those killed rest in peace.

Anna Politkovskaya covered Putin and his war in Chechnya. Putin killed her in 2006. Politkovskaya: He is a true Soviet KGB officer. A bit antisemitic, a bit fascist. Deep down, he does not understand that a person has rights. His rule fills me with hopelessness. 1/

A universal predictive model of the cell would dramatically accelerate science, allowing biologists to perform experiments digitally. Today we’re announcing a major partnership with the DOE and NIH. The goal of this partnership is to generate the data that will be needed to build an accurate model of the cell with artificial intelligence. Isomorphic, Google DeepMind, and Meta are joining us as founding partners in the Virtual Biology Initiative. This is the beginning of a large scale coordinated effort to map cellular biology to power the development of digital models of life. Other leading scientific institutions and consortia including the Allen Institute, Broad Institute, Gladstone Institutes, the Human Cell Atlas, the Human Protein Atlas, the Wellcome Sanger Institute, as well as NVIDIA, are working together as part of this international scientific project. Creating a predictive model of the cell is one of the most important challenges for the next decade of science. The insights that come from this could unlock a far greater understanding of disease, and open new paths for cures. We invite the worldwide scientific community and other funders to join us in this effort.

Show this to anybody who still denies the genocide.  These were all people's homes. Completely and totally destroyed. These images should haunt those who enabled Israel's crimes against humanity - and we will never give up until there is justice for the Palestinian people.

In its pivotal clinical trial, the GRAIL test to detect early cancer failed its primary endpoint. It detected only 3 early cases per 1,000 people assessed. There were more false negative results (N=196) than true positives (N=133). We paid our respects to King Harald V. Ukraine will always be grateful to Norway for all its assistance. This support comes not only from the government, but also from the Royal Family and all the people of Norway. I recall with gratitude our warm meeting with His Majesty and the special attention he paid to Ukraine. He was a monarch who, for over 35 years, embodied Norway – its openness, dignity, and respect for people. Over that time, our bond with Norway has grown especially strong. We are grateful that Norway has stood with Ukraine all these years. Thank you for the decisions that are helping us protect people and stand firm today.

Learning resources play a key role in shaping where talent goes. Today I’m launching my side project, BioTorch, in public beta to give researchers a clearer path into biological AI. LLMs have a wealth of great tutorials, courses, and minimal implementations from great teachers. They make the path from curiosity to contribution easy to see and offer researchers from fields like math or physics a legible roadmap to transition into AI research. In bio AI, that path is much harder to piece together. That friction can mean fewer researchers entering the field, fewer startups getting built, and less investment allocated to promising ideas. This ultimately leads to fewer life-saving cures being discovered than would otherwise be possible. BioTorch is my attempt to help change that. It starts with 116 PyTorch exercises and 17 model guides. You implement the building blocks, test your code, and see how the pieces fit into seminal models like AlphaFold2, ESM2, and RFdiffusion. The goal is to make influential papers in bio AI something you can understand and build on, bringing researchers up to the frontier as rapidly as possible. I want more people working on biology’s hardest problems. My mission is to help researchers find their way into the field, and BioTorch is the result of that ambition. BioTorch is completely free while in beta. Try your first problem now! biotorch.chrishayduk.com
