if you are more of a table person, without any liquidity additions this basically means that in exchange for more illiquid volatile initial trading the higher market caps are significantly more liquid and its easier to 'size in' higher
people seem to think abyss is only a launch pad still and that's fine it is
but its also an exchange, and exchanges should provide assets users want
so i'm looking into to what i can do to get some of those exotic assets on robinhood even with low initial liquidities
more quality of life stuff rolled out over the weekend while other integrations continue.
cliff and linear vesting schedules can now be created in the app even if its just a token you hold and don't want to sell.
cheers mateys and happy sunday

launch on @adeepabyss
what do you mean i can’t launch against dogshitobamatrump inu with $19 of liquidity
insane fucking update. fr tho this let me add automated dividend distros for the legacy dividend tokens so was good.
newer dividend tokens are automated via open keeper systems.
when i finally have a moment i will drop a deep dive video on abyss technical features.
Issue number 1 is what @adeepabyss Layered liquidity is designed to fix.
Instead of selling most of the supply cheap upfront, it spreads tokens across overlapping price ranges. As price climbs, liquidity stacks up.
At the default $15k opening MC:
• First $1k buys 4.4% of supply
• Only 8.8% sold by $100k MC
• Half the supply isn’t sold until ~$34M MC
• At $50M MC, ~$3.9M of buyer money is in the pool
The point: early buyers leave something for everyone else, and the market has depth as it grows.
people in my replies saying 'stop being so negative, be constructive, what would you change' etc etc, so to summarise things I've said across many different tweets over a very long time:
1) structural changes to bonding curves and liquidity post bond to fix the paper thin liquidity on coins deployed into pumpswap pools.
2) meaningful support from top brass on long-lasting, culturally important memecoin communities, both through comms and capital invested into (see glass full foundation, an initiative they abandoned as soon as they started it) to promote sustainable narratives. deeper liquidity would also prop up these coins to absorb volatility and not be subsumed by the diddy spiral, to borrow a term.
3) the severing of ties to extractive KOLs and serial deployers through their retainer scheme and those given pumpfun badges
4) reworking of callout payment scheme to stop funding KOLs who abuse it on incredibly short median hold times) - callout payments should be big for those who buy early, shill to an audience, and then hold it long term as it appreciates in value over longer timeframes.
these are just a few of the meaningful changes in approach that would seriously help a positive pivot imo. the liquidity issue is the most egregious, and has been from the jump since they migrated away from raydium pools.
