@storm Just want you to know how much pride you are bringing to the state of Victoria during these tough times. Watching the games each week, seeing the Big V on the shirts & then the team getting win after win, makes lockdown that little bit easier. Hoping it ends with a GF win!

#saintsfc timeline forgetting we have a spirit & togetherness in our squad, led by a dynamic manager, that we didn’t have last time we were in EPL. Will we struggle, yes. Will we lose more than we win, yes. Will we stay up,.. Get behind the team, whoever pulls on the shirt.

Lot of people misunderstand what Bazball is. Think this quote sums it up perfectly: Ex-India wicketkeeper Deep Dasgupta: "A superb Test match…the braver team won - the team who were brave enough to take a few more chances than the other." #INDvENG @jimmaxcricket

The same fans that have been criticising Tella for years, saying he wasn’t good enough & wanting him farmed out are now up in arms at him being sold. You can’t make this stuff up. Only on #saintsfc timeline.

Glad we are out of the FA Cup, as now we can concentrate wholeheartedly, with 100% focus, on getting relegated from the Premier League. #saintsfc

If only Ward Prowse was there to take that final free kick, would have easily buried it in the top corner. #EnglandVsFrance #SaintsFC

I get animosity towards Ralph, it’s right for him to go, but he kept us in PL with absolutely no financial backing, gave us some great runs & had us top at one point. If Che and Moi didn’t miss multiple absolute sitters this season, we’d be mid table. I wish him well #SaintsFC

Wish so called football pundits would stop constantly trying to sell our best players to the top 6 clubs. Garth Crooks has been doing it for years, Gary Neville doing the same for JWP last night. Almost as incessant as every commentator mentioning the 9-0 losses! #SaintsFC

So many tweets on timeline last couple of days asking if JWP should be in Eng squad for World Cup. How is this question still being asked!? He should be nailed in starting 11! And don’t even start me on so called football fans who still call him a set piece merchant #SaintsFC

Accusing the club of a ‘lack of ambition’ is monotonous. Most overused phrase on this timeline. #saintsfc

Trio of Romeu, Diallo & Ward-Prowse exceptional last night, defensively & creatively going forward. First time I can remember Stuart Armstrong not missed in our midfield. Wouldn’t change much for Wolves, maybe just Forster’s distribution by foot…. #SaintsFC

Don’t book flights with @JetstarAirways When QLD shuts its borders to Melbourne residents they still expect you to fly & enjoy your 5 day holiday in hotel quarantine. Refuse to offer refund, just a travel voucher, because we cancelled flight, not them #COVID19Vic #Paralympics

Semmens is quietly going about putting together a very good summer transfer window for #SaintsFC Building young base in key positions that can hopefully build towards future together & help us take next step. Livramento, Simeu, Small and all academy players already at club.

Nothing like the start of a new season. Genuinely think Adams, Armstrong & Tella are going to cause a lot defences trouble this season, just a matter of how good ours is going to be. Everton are there for the taking today, let’s bring home a win on opening day for once! #SaintsFC

#mufc let Pogba go for nothing buy him back yrs later for £90m #cfc sell Lukaku for £28m buy him back yrs later for £100m #cfc let Salah and De Bruyne go in the past How can other #EPL teams outside top 6 compete when clubs can afford to waste money like this?

#SaintsFC timeline little more positive last 30mins! Armstrong & Broja would support Che nicely, help development of Tella & ease the loss of Ings. Just need to tighten up defence, especially when the press breaks down & we’ll be fine. Couple more in defensive positions please

Most important things in pre season are getting miles in legs, working through systems & tactics, avoiding injuries. #SaintsFC have done that on the whole. 2/3 more players through the door and we will be okay. Difficult first few games, so give team some leeway in judging them.

Just imagine supporting a football team & finding fault in everything owner, CEO, manager & players do; must be totally joyless experience for some. Supported #SaintsFC since I can remember & have absolutely no control over any of things listed above, so why whinge about them?

Few years ago we lost Pochettino, Shaw, Lallana, Lambert…and it paved the way for Koeman, Mane, Tadic, Pelle…Club is righting the wrongs of past few years getting rid of dud signings on big contracts & getting money for Ings. Wait & see. Our starting 11 is a good one. #SaintsFC
