wtf @SOOP_EN just gave out copyright strikes to any video with what, GSL in the title? And including something like my talk show which just included GSL in the title? My channel now has two copyright strikes and is one away from being taken down now.

Imagine getting this in your email as a content creator... @SOOP_EN pls explain why you have copyright striked every video with "GSL" in the title? Some of these don't even have GSL games in them, just in the title My channels will be terminated unless you retract your error

Sad but inevitable given the only team under the org's umbrella performing well the past few years was their legal team...

I don't think I've ever seen a broadcast draw where it didn't look like some kind of made up on the fly dodgy mess. They need to get rid of these draw broadcasts man. The content isn't worth it.

Character design like this is unironically smart because Dota 2 has so much shit going on that thank god the guy named Doom uses Doom and says Doom, because he also has 30 neutral creep abilities he can steal and store.

The guy called Doom has an ultimate called Doom and he is literally the Devil so every ability of his max leveled either deals 66 damage, regens hp 6.66 or has 666 radius. And he also yells "you are doomed" when he dooms you because he is doom.

In LoL he'd be a Darkin called Blootaal'been, say stuff like "Once we ruled this place, when it was not a place..." and have basically the same kit as every new hero (a passive that does extra stacking damage, a poking q, a dash on w, a stun on e, etc.)

Insane because how is there even a region system anymore. What teams would even qualify under this rule now. OG's current roster wouldn't. Aurora Gaming's roster wouldn't!
Shad (@Shadlub) profile pictureShad@ShadlubOct 9
So they aren't letting us play in dreamleague qualifiers because we don't have 3 players from one region (we have 2 weu, 2 sea and 1 eeu). I understand the rule enforcement because it's been bad in the past, but we're not allowed to compete in any region, this seems unfair.

The core of this piece - that Birmingham is far poorer than it really ought to be, somewhat squandered a legacy of immense physical & human capital, and that there is curiously little real sense of how to fix it in the city, or in the country at large - is absolutely correct.
