Another fun week of action with games still to come. The U11 enjoyed a game with @StChrisCEHigh midweek before @AcademyFTFC today Vs @BplDistrictTeam. The U15G maintained their 100% start Vs @PrestonCityTeam, it was a tight defeat for U12G and the U13 played @ManCity vs Tameside!
A big thank you to @SalfordCityFC for playing our U14 group this evening. A very tough game with an outstanding opener in our favour from @ribblesdalesch Lonsdale, but the tide swung away as Salford scored 2 quick goals and a third in the 2nd half to win 3-1 overall.
Great evening for the U11 Boys last night in St. Helen's with a 5-2 victory. Another outstanding match with quality in both teams. Wilton, Peltier, O'Connor and Gardner amongst the goals!
Simpson with the POTM!

Our Under 15's start their final season together this weekend, hosting @hrvdsfa in the @SchoolsFootball North West League. A fixture that pairs last season's national Plate final teams is sure to be as entertaining as always when the two teams meet.

See St Christopher’s through the eyes of our pupils! 👋🏫
At our Open Evening, prospective pupils and their families will have the opportunity to join a guided tour with two of our pupils.
Come and meet them at our Open Evening on Tuesday 29th September from 6pm! 😊
Great work from 6 of the national finalists making the final @LancashireSFA county team. Keavey and Marsh from @CRGSPE, Battrick and Pountain from @StChrisCEHigh and Yabantu and Latham from @ribblesdalesch. Phenomenal representation at this level & a huge honour for them and us!

Can I get a few reposts for this. Very hard to get publicity for books when you aren’t famous
⚽️ The Smell of Football books TWO and THREE from the legendary trilogy by the brilliant @MickRathbone the former Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers and Halifax Town player turned physio.
2️⃣ Book two of three is the searingly honest and unputdownable sequel to the award-winning The Smell of Football. In this engrossing and moving but often hilarious memoir, Mick ‘Baz’ Rathbone picks up from where his acclaimed debut tome left off.

🏟️ There are great stories of the likes of David Moyes, Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Bobby Charlton and the late, great Ray Clemence.
3️⃣ In the third book, Mick concludes his riveting football trilogy with a 100-day diary starting in the early 2024/25 season.

📚 This book shows just how much the players and officials really do care and just how painful and emotionally draining defeat is. It is an honest account that brings to life the day-to-day running of a professional football club.
And were off! Great to see 4 of our teams out on the turf (well plastic) taking on Blackpool and Rossendale respectively. Two new districts playing with respect, effort and flair. Equally on our own side, amazing to get our new year 7 girls side together for the first time ever.
A mouth-watering @SchoolsFootball draw for our 9 teams with trips down the road & excursions into Wales, Teesside, South Yorkshire & the North West northern powerhouses. A repeat of the U14 (now u15) plate final from June with @Trafford_SFA and 10 new districts we've never faced!
A huge well done to this rabble this week with their GCSE results. 4 boys also going on to play football on scholarships at @BurnleyOfficial , @ASFCofficial and @AFCFyldeAcademy.
Thankfully more grade 9s and 6s than 2s!
National semi-finalists in 2024!
Delighted to announce the formation of our first ever U12 girls team. Great to create further opportunities for the school pupils in this area. We're incredibly grateful to the new coaches and the increased remit of our existing team! An exciting season ahead!

Were delighted to announce @SARCHSofficial & U15 Girls captain Clegg as our 2026 Sports Personality of the Year. An outstanding achievement for one of our national cup winners in 2025.

Amazing effort from former @ribbweb and @LancashireSFA pupil @CharliePenman who gave up his time to present our district awards last night. What an inspiration for our pupils. @ASFCofficial captain Seamus Coneelly was equally impressive, donating his time to inspire our players!
