Da Coach. Hall of Famer. The heartbeat of the ’85 Bears and a Super Bowl champion. Chicago won’t be the same.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Mike Ditka. While the world knew Mike as a Hall of Fame football player, legendary coach, and leader of the Chicago Bears’ Super Bowl XX championship team, we knew him as the heart of our family. Mike will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever.

As a Met fan yesterday was the closest we get to a playoff game in 2026 as we are gonna get this year. The stadium was rocking the entire night for all who were there. Thank you @marlins_man for making dreams come true. Had a 7500 calorie experience of the best food in the world at a ballpark. Sharing a night with my son @feiner_ryan was like a religious experience. Taking hundreds of pictures and videos simply does not get better. Ate amazing meatloaf, sushi, mashed potatoes, veggie lasagna, shrimp, salad, hot dogs, pretzels, burgers, chicken fingers, peanuts, popcorn, fruit, coffee, was elite ballpark eating. The @Mets always have treated me like a king at both ballparks since 1966. Wish u were there last night. The game had it all and it was one for the ages. Still going to a Met game is a religious experience and the best time you can have with your cloths on. For people who live and die knowing baseball is the best sport in the world win or lose, get me. I wanna go again tonight lol. @Mets @SNY_Mets
