Children should be playing with toys not instructed to kill others with guns. Children should be exploring literature, music, art, and sports - not covered up and trained to be subservient. Children should be treasured not exploited. Most importantly; children should be children not coerced into being adults. Is this still part of Canadian culture? We are asking the public for their help in identifying a woman who is believed to be a witness to a shooting that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, in the city’s northeast.
📍 On Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, at approx. 5:45 a.m., we received a call regarding possible gunshots in the 100 block of Rundlemere Road N.E. Shortly after, a man with a gunshot wound was dropped off at a nearby hospital in a stolen vehicle, which quickly fled. The vehicle was later located abandoned.
Police are looking to speak with a woman who is believed to have witnessed the incident.
🔍 The witness is described as female between the age of 20 & 30 years old, with medium-length brown hair.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police by calling the non-emergency number. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers through any of the following methods:

LONDON, ONTARIO — A 25-year-old London man has been arrested after allegedly luring someone he believed was a 14-year-old girl online and arranging to meet her.
Police say that on October 20, 2026, the man began talking online with a person he believed was a 14-year-old girl and offered to pick her up for a drive. The conversation moved to text messages, where it allegedly became sexual. Police say he sent sexually explicit images, asked for images in return and agreed to meet in person.
On October 22, officers went to the meeting spot and arrested him. Police say he used the Snapchat username “biskylover.”
Dylan Jonathan Carter, 25, of London, was charged with:
