At mainnet, the Foundation will back a set of validators with its own GEN. Those are the node seats, and Pre-Mainnet Staking decides who gets them. Points, leaderboard, nodes: all in one minute 👇

i think agents will mean way more work for lawyers an agent can't go to jail, so a human stays liable for everything it does @HenriArslanian asked me about this on his podcast youtube.com/watch?v=uXpzHMc9…

Building at #NEARHackathon and need NEAR AI Cloud credits to keep shipping. Credit form is already in, still at $0. Anyone who can help unlock Builders $10 or nudge hackathon credits? 🙏 @NEARProtocol @NearBuilders @near_ai @NEARLegion @ilblackdragon

How to run a GenLayer validator (beginner guide) 🧠 genm fam 👋 Curious about validators but scared of the terminal? This one's for you. 0) What a validator is A validator runs Intelligent Contracts in GenVM, calls AI models, and helps reach agreement on outcomes through Optimistic Democracy. Registering is NOT the same as being active. You also need the live minimum self-stake, a healthy node, and activation on the network. Docs: docs.genlayer.com/validators… 1) Why practise on Bradbury now Bradbury is the production-like testnet with real AI workloads (chain ID 4221). @GenLayer also announced Pre-Mainnet Staking, where a Staking Points leaderboard decides mainnet node seats. On the Clarke testnet you can run your own node or use a node-as-a-service provider. Providers haven't been named yet, so practising on Bradbury is the smart move. 2) Hardware (official) • 16 GB RAM • 8-core AMD64 CPU (ARM isn't supported) • 128 GB+ SSD/NVMe • 100 Mbps internet (1 Gbps+ recommended) • 64-bit Linux, Docker, Python 3.10+ • No GPU needed unless you run AI models locally 3) Three addresses, don't mix them up • Owner = cold wallet, the only one that can withdraw stake • Operator = hot key on the server that signs duties • Validator Wallet = your on-chain identity, created when you join Back up the owner key yourself. The node only holds the operator key. 4) Keys you need • At least one AI provider API key (Heurist, Comput3, io.net, OpenAI, Anthropic and others). Use more than one so you have a backup, because timeouts get penalised. • A Conduit RPC key from app.conduit.xyz/rpc-keys, set as: export GENLAYERNODE_ROLLUP_GENLAYERCHAINRPCKEY="your_key" Never put it in URLs or config.yaml. 5) Stake and register (Node.js 20+) npm install -g genlayer@rc Use @ rc, not @ latest, because latest is still older. genlayer staking epoch-info --network testnet-bradbury That shows the live minimum stake. 42,000 GEN is only a default. genlayer staking wizard --network testnet-bradbury Testnet GEN faucet: testnet-faucet.genlayer.foun… 6) Run the node Easy way (AI-assisted, recommended): claude /plugin marketplace add genlayerlabs/skills claude /plugin install genlayernode@genlayerlabs claude /genlayernode install Manual way: download the Bradbury-approved build from the link in the setup guide (it's on Google Cloud Storage, not GitHub), verify it with cosign, then run: python3 ./opt/genvm/current/bin/setup.py Add the Bradbury config and protocol manifest, import the operator keystore, and set GENLAYERNODE_PASSWORD (never --password). Then: docker compose up -d ./bin/genlayernode doctor ./bin/genlayernode run -c $(pwd)/configs/node/config.yaml 7) Check your status • StakeGen (official staking UI): stakegen.com • Explorer: scan.testnet-chain.genlayer.… • Community board: genlayer-validators.stakely.… • genlayer staking validator-info <your-validator-wallet> --network testnet-bradbury 8) Common mistakes • Installing genlayer@latest instead of @ rc • Thinking registering = active • Putting API keys in URLs or config.yaml • Losing the owner key (it can't be recovered from the node) • Using only one AI provider • Skipping doctor • Trusting DMs offering "validator scripts" 9) Safety Never share keys, seed phrases or passwords. Keep the owner key cold. Only use the official docs. Questions? Drop them below 👇 genm fam 🫡

Arthur Hayes is building a market where AI agents buy their own GPU compute, with no human in the loop. I dug into @flop_labs devnet and explained it for beginners: how agents pay, how cheating gets caught, and how you can join as a miner or validator. Big swing from @CryptoHayes 👇

I closed my browser tab. Rialo still moved my money on time. Tonight I built a Stop-Loss Vault on @RialoHQ testnet. I locked 0.5 RLO and told the chain to release 0.47 RLO to my safe wallet at 2:10:36 AM. Then I shut everything down. No bot. No server. No keeper network. No cron job. Block 7107076 landed at 2:10:36 AM, the exact second I scheduled. Here's why that matters 👇 On most chains, smart contracts can't act on their own. Someone has to poke them, which means paying a bot or keeper service and trusting it stays online. Rialo has a native Subscriber program. You register a one-time transaction, and the chain executes it itself. Real things you can build with that: • Stop-loss and take-profit vaults • Salary payouts on a schedule • Escrow that auto-refunds at a deadline • Inheritance and dead-man switches And it's live on testnet right now. Almost nobody is talking about it. What I'm building next: price-triggered releases enforced fully on-chain. When that lands, "set it and forget it" DeFi becomes real. Most people are waiting for news. Some are already testing the infrastructure. Quiet builders move first. 🧊

GenLayer just announced Pre-Mainnet Staking 🧠 If you're new and confused, here's everything explained simply 👇 First, the basics: • $GEN = GenLayer's coin • THE DAY = the day $GEN launches and people receive it • Mainnet = the real, final GenLayer network (comes AFTER THE DAY) • Staking = locking your coins to support the network and earn rewards • Validator = a computer that runs and checks the network, and gets paid for it So what's new? There's a gap between GEN launching and mainnet going live. Pre-Mainnet Staking makes sure your GEN isn't just sitting idle during that time. How it works: 1️⃣ Got the airdrop? From THE DAY, your GEN counts as staked automatically, even before you claim it. Zero clicks needed. 2️⃣ Every staked $GEN earns 1 Staking Point per day. Same rate for everyone. 1,000 GEN = 1,000 points on day one, 30,000 after a month. 3️⃣ Holding extra $GEN? Stake it on the Portal and it counts the same way. You can withdraw anytime. 4️⃣ All points go on a live leaderboard on the Portal, showing where you'd stand if it ended today. 5️⃣ The top of that leaderboard gets validator node seats when mainnet launches, backed at first by the Foundation's $GEN. 6️⃣ Never run a node? No problem. When the Clarke testnet starts, run one yourself or let a node-as-a-service provider run it for you. TL;DR: Your $GEN starts working before mainnet even exists. Stake more and stake longer to climb the leaderboard and get a shot at becoming a validator. Airdrop holders are in from day one 🐱 ⚠️ Only use the official @GenLayer Portal. Ignore DMs and lookalike "claim" sites. genm fam 🫡
Introducing Pre-Mainnet Staking. GEN arrives on THE DAY. Mainnet comes later. This programme covers the time in between. Here's how it works 👇

GM ☀️ Let me tell you one Alpha before it comes. RIALO builders meta will be bigger than any project. You will se tons of builders and their builds on Rialo more than we see on arc and other chains. I cooked something too. Will post today 🙌
