So Joani Reid is married to a Chinese spy, had an affair with a military nuclear sub captain, and also an editor of a significant Scottish newspaper, and nobody thinks that's a big story?

The English govt really are on a mission to shut Scotland down arenβt they. There must be some desperate reason for them to choke the life out of Scotland.
Better together my arse!

To my lovely trolls who say Iβm not Scottish because of my skin tone. I was born & raised in Scotland, & I still live in the very same Scottish town I was born in.
Scotland is all Iβve ever known, and itβs what I will always defend and stand up for, no matter the situation or

Tomorrow, the British Prime Minister will host an economic summit in Glasgow alongside the First Ministers of Scotland and Wales.
The DUPβs Emma Little-Pengelly has decided to block both herself and First Minister Michelle OβNeill from attending.
This is reckless and irresponsible. This is a reactive stunt driven by the DUPs own internal pressures and electoral problems.
The public should not pay the price.
It is a missed opportunity to make the case for investment, jobs, a fair budget and nursesβ pay.
Michelle has made clear to the British Secretary of State that locally elected Ministers are best placed to represent local interests.
Our focus remains on delivering for people across every community.
Such an immature petulant child
Given the seriousness of the circumstances surrounding Michelle OβNeillβs recent reckless conduct, and the damage it has done to the operation of our joint office, I have withdrawn agreement to attendance at tomorrowβs engagements in Glasgow.
This follows on the back of stopping separate planned engagements, including with the President of Ireland, Catherine Connelly over the last number of weeks and I have not agreed further activities or events.
I do not take this action lightly.
The situation surrounding the First Ministerβs recent conduct remains extremely serious. There is significant anger, hurt and legitimate public discontent arising from her actions. These concerns cannot simply be dismissed or minimised. This is an exceptionally serious matter, particularly given the responsibilities of the office she holds and the importance of public confidence in the rule of law.
Of further concern is the First Ministerβs continuing refusal to recognise or meaningfully acknowledge the depth and legitimacy of the discontent caused by her behaviour. Her approach has contributed to a significant deterioration in confidence and in the working relationship necessary to discharge the responsibilities of our joint office.
Northern Ireland will not miss out. I have requested a separate meeting with the Prime Minister to ensure Northern Irelandβs interests, including the urgent budgetary and funding challenges facing the Executive, continue to be represented directly.

The comments by DUP leader Gavin Robinson today were arrogant and supremacist.
The DUP is consumed with their own internal leadership troubles and divisions. They are in turmoil.
The days of domination and supremacy are over.
The days of treating people like second class citizens are over.
There will be no going back.
Not now, and not ever.
I, as First Minister, will be at the Assembly on Monday morning, along with Sinn FΓ©inβs Ministers, to continue our work.
We will keep showing up every day for people.

Word soup Martin. The existing grant may well be still active but the next stage funding will be loan based & include equity stakes. You're changing the rules of the game for Acorn but not for other CCS projects in England. Why? The answer must be because you want to kill it off

Largs Council is controlled by Tory minority together with a few Independent councillors. I recommend she complain to a few other responsible bodies (including the Local Authority), in addition to her, so far, solely levelling criticism at the Scottish Government
