3 models that have worked so far:

Competing against these incumbents on their terms is a losing game
My bet is that the next and final part of the perps meta is building for composability
A perp dex that can atomically compose with all DeFi and create new traders, new yield that simply weren't possible any time before
That is a unique unlock we have never seen in action before
Only 2 projects are delivering this:
- Perpl -> EVM
- Phoenix -> SVM
The difference is that Perpl has the ability to compose with the entire EVM, which is a larger TAM, and offers an on-chain matching engine that is not possible on the SVM

I never thought I’d see the day when another chain would overtake Solana with such force, but Robinhood is well on its way, and as we’re seeing now, it looks like it’s here to stay. Back in the day, I was a complete Solana maxi. I refused to trade on any other chain, and ended up missing out on some insane profits simply because I couldn’t be bothered to bridge.
