Michigan has rabbis, lay leaders, day school heads and shul presidents. When it came to finding 500 “Jewish Leaders” for an @AbdulElSayed petition, the @nytimes skipped all of them and found Jaime B., Emily K. and Jessica S. #NewspaperOfNoRecord
NYT: The letter, signed by more than 500 people who identify as Jewish leaders or voters in Michigan, says that the election of Abdul El-Sayed, is “clearly the better choice for Jews” compared with Trump MAGA Republican Mike Rogers. #JewsForAbdul nytimes.com/2026/09/17/us/po…

From a pilot I trust: It is too early to tell all of the factors that played a roll but likely complacency and inexperience. From the ATC audio tape and radar (see below) I would say inexperienced pilot or pilots and obviously weather. They likely flew into the storms and iced up. The Lear has a very critical wing and if they iced up in the thin air at altitude, they likely experienced a power on stall which can result in an upset and or snap roll. As they asked to climb, we know they were likely at a very high power setting. Investigation should provide more insight as to whether they had the radar on or not and the training records as well as experience levels of the crew and any difficulty they may have had over the years with training. They will also rebuild their days before the flight looking at any causal factors like fatigue. This should not have happened. I have a video of the impact and the plane appears to be intact just before impact. We absolutely would not cross a line of storms like that while descending into them.

This is why I’ve been saying that the entire fear mongering about AI finding security flaws. Is missing one integral part that security companies can use AI to build better software and tools
‼️ Security firm Calif says iOS 27.2 kills most of the bugs it used to jailbreak an iPhone 18 Pro through Memory Integrity Enforcement, Apple's anti-spyware hardware. Apple credits Calif on 6 of the 163 fixes. The jailbreak survived a reboot, and Calif says AI helped build it.

Crazy theory about the midterm elections. The only reason why the Dems might take a lead in the house is because of the high price of oil, but most mainstream Americans are fed up with the DSA hijacking of the Dems. once 2028 comes around, they’ll lose the WH and both houses

Why Israel’s Electoral System is Virtually Fraud-Free When people admire the Israeli electoral system and wonder how there is never a single claim of election fraud, they need to understand a few fundamental things: * Israel is a democracy. * Israel is not an apartheid state. * The entire voting process is completely manual. How the Process Works First of all, there is no voter registration process - it is automatic for every Israeli citizen aged 18 and above. It does not matter whether you are Arab, Muslim, or Jewish; any citizen can vote (strictly limited to citizens, of course). Second, you receive a notification slip in the mail specifying your name, the exact location and number of your designated polling station, and your serial number in that station's voter registry. When you arrive, election officials verify your identity using an official government photo ID. No alternate or informal identification is permitted, and no one is allowed to "vouch" for another voter. If the photo on your ID is unclear, they may ask for a secondary ID, such as a driver's license. Voting and Verification Next, two officials locate your name in the physical registry assigned to that specific polling booth. Once they verify that your name, ID number, and serial number match their records, they hand you an official voting envelope that both of them have personally signed on the spot to ensure any non-official or tampered envelopes can be immediately detected. In a completely manual fashion, they cross off your name with a ruler from the list of eligible voters. You then step behind a curtain, select the slip for the party or candidate you wish to vote for, place it inside the signed envelope, and step back out. At that point, on a separate tracking log, they record that the voter assigned to your serial number has cast their ballot. You deposit your envelope into the ballot box, and your vote is done. The Count Once the polling station closes at 10:00 PM, the election committee - alongside representatives from multiple competing political parties -conducts a manual count of the votes for that specific booth. Each official can physically verify that every envelope in the box bears the exact signatures they applied earlier that morning. Only after this count is completed are the final numbers transmitted to the Central Elections Committee. Up to this point, the process has been entirely manual, fully audited, and continuously monitored by individuals with competing interests who hold each other accountable.

You should generally learn the Halacha of Chazal forbidding a kingdom other than moshiach in post churban Israel. See rayvid and Rambam on the matter. I don’t have answers for you regarding modern religious Zionism … but if you’re a Torah Jew you should be informed
