😂😂😂 we will repeal this law, as easy as Tinubu changed our National anthem! Cc @taiwoyedele
Just In: FG set to pass a law that would prevent the next government from reversing the economic reforms policies introduced by the Tinubu administration, Incl. taxation, tarrifs, subsidies etc., making them binding and mandatory.

INCREDIBLE! At this rate, even our grandchildren yet unborn may never be able to repay these Tinubu loans. He is mortgaging our future. What hurts the most is that these massive borrowings aren’t translating into meaningful development for Nigerians. Is he deliberately piling up debts to make the country ungovernable for @atiku when he takes over come May

BREAKING: Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s blood sample tested positive for Enterococcus faecium, a bacterium that can cause serious infections. The laboratory report, dated Oct 16, also indicates that the bacterium is resistant to vancomycin, with concerns about a possible bloodstream infection. On October 22, El-Rufai’s doctor recommended urgent hospital admission, treatment and specialist consultation, warning that the proposed antibiotics might not adequately treat the infection. Yet, those holding him appear more concerned about keeping him behind bars than ensuring he receives appropriate medical care. When urgent medical recommendations are not prioritised, questions about deliberate neglect become unavoidable, because even convicted bandits are taken to the hospital when the need arises. What exactly do they want? From denying Mallam Nasir El-Rufai access to his doctor to now refusing to follow medical recommendations, recommendations that even their own doctors agree with. If you saw Mallam’s picture yesterday, you could tell the man is sick. He is only trying to be strong despite everything he is going through. What exactly do you want from this man?
I don't know if it's just me but Mallam looks different in the pictures I saw today......... And I am really worried!

WHY NORTHERNERS KEPT QUIET UNDER BUHARI — REPLY TO SEN. SHEHU SANI _By Umar Sanda Babuga 1. Northerners kept quiet because Buhari wasn't tribalistic. His two super Ministers (Fashola - Works and Amaechi - Transport) were both Southerners. 2. Northerners kept quiet because while Buhari was rehabilitating Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Expressway, he had completed Ilorin-Bode Saadu-Jebba highway and was undertaking Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. 3. Northerners kept quiet because while Buhari completed ABUJA-Kaduna rail line, he started and completed Lagos-Abeokuta/Ibadan standard gauge railway. 4. While Buhari maintained subsidy making life easier for Nigerians, Tinubu removed it and things have never been the same. That is why northerners kept quiet. 5. Northerners kept quiet because there was school feeding across Nigeria which brought over 5 million out-of-school children (mostly in the North) back to school. 6. Northerners kept quiet because all 36 States had 1 minister each, with only 6 states having 2 (one from each zone), unlike PBAT that gave Ogun state alone 4 Ministers including Finance Minister and CBN Governor. 7. *ON SECURITY & SOPHISTICATED WEAPONS:* Northerners kept quiet because Buhari invested over $1 Billion in weapons to fight insecurity. For the first time since 1999, the Armed Forces were fully re-equipped. - *Air Force:* 38 brand new aircraft — 12 A-29 Super Tucano Jets from USA, 3 JF-17 Thunder Jets, 5 Mi-35M attack Helicopters, 4 Agusta 109, 2 Bell 412, 2 Mi-171E, 10 Super Mushshak. Plus he ordered 12 AH-1Z Viper — world's deadliest attack helicopter — and 24 M-346 attack jets. He also raised aircraft serviceability from 35% to 70%. - *Army:* VT-4 Main Battle Tanks, ST1 Light Tanks, SH-5 Self-propelled Howitzers, and hundreds of Armoured Vehicles. - *Navy:* Over 400 new platforms — 200 Riverine Patrol Boats, 114 Rigid Inflatable Boats, 4 Capital Ships, and Surveillance Drones. Because of this, Boko Haram deaths dropped by 92% (from 2,131 in 2015 to 178 in 2021) and Nigeria recorded lowest piracy in 27 years. 8. Northerners kept quiet because Buhari ensured we eat what we produce. That policy created hundreds of rice mills, farmers were happy, our GDP improved since agriculture contributes nearly 40% of GDP, unlike PBAT who gave 150-day duty-free waiver to import food. 9. Northerners kept quiet because Buhari's appointments were across the 6 geopolitical zones, unlike PBAT who takes almost everything to South West. 10. Northerners kept quiet under Buhari because there was NPower, Conditional Cash Transfer, TraderMoni, MarketMoni, FarmerMoni. But PBAT increased school fees from N50,000 to N150,000, gives you loan and expects repayment. 11. Northerners kept quiet because Buhari gave the judiciary and opposition a free hand to operate, that cannot be said under this government. 12. Northerners kept quiet because the economic team was under South West under Buhari (Osinbajo, Kemi Adeosun, Babatunde Fowler etc). Now everything is concentrated in South West. 13. Northerners kept quiet because Buhari completed Second Niger Bridge after 50 years of failed promises — a project in South East, not North. 14. Northerners kept quiet because Buhari recovered 20 Local Governments from Boko Haram. In 2015 Boko Haram controlled 20 LGs and hoisted flags. By 2017, no inch of Nigeria was under them. 15. Northerners kept quiet because Buhari built 14 new Federal Universities and completed 5 International Airport Terminals — Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Port Harcourt, Enugu — not one zone. 16. Northerners kept quiet because Buhari signed Petroleum Industry Act after 20 years of failure, and started 614km AKK Gas Pipeline to revive Northern industries. 17. Northerners kept quiet because Buhari exited Nigeria from recession TWICE (2017 & 2021) and gave bailout to all 36 States to pay salaries without minding APC or PDP. 18. Northerners kept quiet because Buhari gave LG Autonomy and signed Not-Too-Young-To-Run Bill.

BREAKING: Reports that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s blood sample tested positive for Enterococcus faecium, reportedly resistant to vancomycin, raise serious concerns about his health and the medical care he is receiving. The authorities must ensure he receives immediate, appropriate medical attention and that his condition is independently assessed. Let this be clear: if anything happens to Mallam El-Rufai while in government custody, the Tinubu and Uba Sani administrations must be held accountable and answer for their actions and responsibilities. His health, safety and fundamental rights are not negotiable. His life must not be put at risk. Nigerians deserve transparency, accountability and proof that he is receiving adequate medical care.

26 OCTOBER 2026 PRESS STATEMENT APC'S IRRESPONSIBLE FALSEHOOD CANNOT HIDE TINUBU'S FAILURES, ADC REPLIES ALAKE The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has described the latest statement by the APC Presidential Campaign Council, alleging unpaid salaries within our party, as an irresponsible falsehood and another laughable piece of cheap propaganda from a government that has failed Nigerians on every important measure of governance. We find it rather amusing that a government that has presided over one of the most painful periods of economic hardship in our country's recent history now considers itself qualified to lecture anyone about the welfare of workers. But perhaps we should not be surprised. When a government has no achievements to defend, it must manufacture allegations to discuss. "The ADC categorically rejects this allegation as an irresponsible falsehood, deliberately concocted to mislead Nigerians and distract attention from the monumental failures of the Tinubu administration. If the APC has any credible evidence to support its claims, it should produce it rather than continue to insult Nigerians with fabricated stories masquerading as press statements." We understand the APC's desperation to change the conversation. But Nigerians are not fools. The real issue is not the imaginary crisis that the APC is desperately trying to manufacture within the ADC. The real issue is the crisis that President Bola Tinubu and his government have created in the homes of millions of Nigerians. The real issue is the cost of living. The real issue is the absence of jobs and opportunities for our young people. The real issue is the insecurity that continues to threaten lives, livelihoods, and communities across the country. These are the issues on which this government must be judged, and no amount of propaganda can redeem it. "It is becoming increasingly clear that the APC has decided to run its 2027 campaign on allegations against the opposition rather than achievements of its own. That is what happens when a government has spent years making promises it cannot keep and excuses it cannot defend." We therefore advise Mr Alake and his colleagues to spend less time inventing stories about the ADC and more time explaining why Nigerians should reward their party with another term after the hardship, insecurity and economic uncertainty of the last three years. The APC may control the machinery of government, but it cannot control the lived experiences of Nigerians. And no amount of propaganda targeted at the opposition can erase the monumental record of the ruling APC. This election is about one issue only: the cost of living that the Tinubu administration has pushed beyond the reach of the majority of Nigerians. The ADC will stay focused on this issue. We will not be distracted. We will continue to hold this government accountable on the issues that matter to Nigerians. "If the APC has a record to defend, let it defend it. If it has solutions, let it present them. But it should stop insulting the intelligence of Nigerians with these increasingly desperate distractions." SIGNED: Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi

PRESS STATEMENT APC PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL UNPAID STAFF SALARIES: NIGERIANS SHOULD REJECT ABUBAKAR AND ADC CANDIDATES It has come to our attention that the National Working Committee of the African Democratic Congress, led by Senator David Mark as Chairman and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as Secretary, has refused and neglected to pay party staff for over a year. We find it unconscionable that a political party that has made many grandiose promises to hoodwink Nigerians owes its workers for more than 12 months. Owing staff who come to work every day and who rely on the salaries for their daily sustenance is wicked and reprehensible. With this development, Nigerians can now see the emptiness and insincerity of those parading themselves as 'new saviours'. We have clearly stated that ADC leaders and their presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, do not mean well and can do nothing for our country. Their desperation for power is driven by personal aggrandisement and venomous ill will against President Bola Tinubu. A party that cannot pay its cleaners and workforce cannot be entrusted with our country's affairs. Atiku Abubakar, the ADC's leader and Presidential candidate, has a reputation for owing his employees. While he regularly junkets to the UAE, staff at his Gotel Communication and other businesses also went months without pay and staged protests over unpaid salaries and other benefits. The record of the ADC General Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, on paying workers' salaries and pensioners in Osun State, where he was a governor for 8 years, was abysmal. As governor, he mismanaged the state's finances to the point that he could not pay workers. His government thus introduced quarter-salary and, at times, half-salary payments. As for pensioners, he abandoned them for more than four years. Many died because they could not afford the basics of life. We are therefore not surprised that ADC, harbouring birds of the same feather, cannot pay its workers' salaries. We are sounding a warning to Nigerians and working people now: reject ADC. Reject Atiku Abubakar and reject all ADC candidates in the next general elections. They do not have the interest of our country and our people at heart. A party that aspires to govern Nigeria and which cannot be trusted with something as basic as the management of its own affairs and the welfare of its workforce should be rejected by Nigerians. SHETTIMA, HOW DID BOLA GRADUATE BEFORE GOVERNMENT COLLEGE LAGOS EXISTED?  “While Shettima debates school records, families are skipping meals, workers cannot afford the journey to work, and his government calls their suffering reform.” At the 32nd Nigerian Economic Summit in Abuja today, Vice President Kashim Shettima had a chance to explain why Nigerians are struggling to afford fuel, transport and food. Instead, he mocked Atiku Abubakar for attending the Kano School of Hygiene. Faced with the cost of living crisis, this government’s Vice President attacked a man’s school. What, exactly, is shameful about Atiku’s education? He completed secondary school, pursued further training and built a life through work. Millions of Nigerians have travelled the same road. Their parents sacrificed to get them into the schools they could afford; they studied, worked and rose. Shettima looked at that struggle and saw something to laugh at. If Shettima wants to examine school records, he should begin with the man he serves. A document in Bola Tinubu’s Chicago State University records lists him as having graduated from Government College Lagos in 1970, four years before the school was established in 1974. Shettima should explain how a man graduates from a school before it exists, instead of mocking Atiku for attending a school whose doors were open. Then there is the question of names. The NYSC certificate Tinubu submitted to INEC bears the name “Tinubu Bola Adekunle.” Atiku has challenged that discrepancy in court. Shettima cannot ridicule Atiku’s documented schooling while refusing to address questions about the name on his principal’s certificate. Tinubu’s Chicago State University documents are also still the subject of litigation in the United States. The questions raised about documents submitted for his election must be answered on their own terms. Insulting Atiku’s school will not make them disappear. Nor can Shettima pretend that the documented 1993 forfeiture in Chicago, arising from a narcotics investigation, has never raised questions. A separate U.S. case concerning the release of records from that historical investigation remains a matter of public interest. Shettima says Atiku wants Nigerians to “backslide into penury.” Back from where? The World Bank estimates that nearly seven in ten Nigerians will live below its lower middle income poverty line in 2026, while 35 million people face acute food insecurity. Poverty is not a future threat to these families. It is the life they are struggling through today. A parent choosing between transport to work and food for the children does not need Shettima to explain penury. His remark shows how far this government has drifted from the people it serves. Atiku has proposed a targeted, capped and independently audited subsidy tied to petrol refined in Nigeria. If Shettima thinks it cannot be funded, he should show his figures and offer a better way to lower prices. Insulting Atiku will not fill a cooking pot, pay a bus fare or put fuel in a tank. Atiku has nothing to be ashamed of. He walked through the doors of the Kano School of Hygiene, studied, worked and rose. The shame belongs to Shettima, who stood before a nation weighed down by hunger and chose to laugh at honest education. After three and a half years in the saddle, Nigerians have seen the bitter consequences of allowing a man with a forged education to become President. Tinubu is an error the Nigerian electorate made in 2023, and on January 16, 2027, the whole country will be impatient to correct that error. Shettima and Bola may be too far removed from ordinary homes to hear the anger building inside them. Those homes will have a voice at the ballot box. Nigerians will answer the Vice President’s mockery and his boss’s record with their votes. Shettima and Bola will be beaten by the very people they have stopped listening to. Signed: Phrank Shaibu Director of Strategic Communication ADC PCC. 26th/10/2026.

Atiku Abubakar's only qualification before joining the Nigerian Customs was as a sanitary inspector. You wonder what he knows about economics, given that he now advocates a regressive subsidy policy that will set our country back by over 20 years.

You see how manipulative the APC can be right? So every time you see us scrutinizing them on social media just allow us to do the Lord’s work. They know what they’re doing and they’re not afraid of any public opinion. The First Lady donated those 2026 Prados using Dayo’s office, after receiving bashing, they’re now using NTA to manipulate the masses. From an SUV worth N150m each to “campaign buses” e no go better for these people.
Nigeria's First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Donates Campaign Buses To APC Youth Leaders Nigeria's First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has charged youths in the All Progressives Congress party to bring their ideas and intelligence to bear as they continue to mobilize support for the second term bid of President Bola Tinubu. This was during her meeting with APC Youth leaders in her office, where she also encouraged them to work in unity and do their best to win the forthcoming presidential election, noting that they have enough records of achievements to campaign with. After exhibiting and distributing new APC campaign materials, the First Lady handed over new campaign vehicles, donated to her office to the youth leaders She urged them to use the vehicles as mobility to go into every nook and cranny of the country, with a message of hope, prosperity and continuity. Appreciating the First Lady for the support, on behalf of the APC National Youth leader, Dayo Israel signalled the readiness of all support groups to work together as one in mobilizing grassroot votes for the president.

TINUBU MUST EXPLAIN LUXURY SUV GIFTS TO APC YOUTHS WHILE NIGERIANS GO HUNGRY — ATIKU. Former Vice President and African Democratic Congress presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of presiding over a grotesque spectacle of executive excess: the reported distribution of 2026 model luxury SUVs, each worth more than ₦150 million, to APC youth leaders while millions of Nigerians are crushed by hunger and soaring costs. Atiku said it was a brazen insult to ask Nigerians to endure hardship while party loyalists receive vehicles worth a fortune. He demanded an immediate public explanation from President Tinubu and the Presidency: who is paying for these SUVs, and why is such lavish political spending taking place while ordinary families struggle to afford food and transport? In a statement issued by Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, Atiku said: "The APC National Youth Leader says these vehicles were donated by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu. Nigerians deserve to know where the money came from to buy and distribute so many 2026 model SUVs, each worth more than ₦150 million, for political mobilisation. "The First Lady holds no elected or executive office. She is only a domestic appendage of the office of President. Were these vehicles bought with her personal funds, donations or public resources? Who paid for them? What was the total cost? The Presidency must provide a clear account. Nigerians cannot be expected to accept a fleet of extraordinarily expensive vehicles for party loyalists without knowing who financed them. "At a time families cannot afford food, transport and other basic necessities, these gifts are a brazen insult to the people. The government has found a way to provide luxury SUVs for APC youth leaders, yet millions of Nigerians are still waiting for meaningful relief from the cost of living crisis. This is not merely a question of misplaced priorities. It is one of the most outlandish displays of executive recklessness in our history. "First, APC women leaders reportedly received luxury vehicles. Now, according to the National Youth Leader, APC youth leaders are receiving SUVs from the First Lady. The earlier gifts came on the eve of the abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State. Now another lavish round of political giving is taking place while Nigerians face hunger, insecurity and hardship. "While Nigerians continue to ask where the savings from subsidy removal have gone, the Presidency must explain how such costly gifts are being funded. If the vehicles were paid for privately, the source of the funds should be disclosed. If public resources were used, the government must identify who authorised the spending and under what legal authority. "The scale of these gifts raises grave questions about whether our collective patrimony is being diverted to buy political loyalty. Nigeria cannot be run as a captured state, where wealth and influence serve the powerful while ordinary citizens are left to struggle. "The same youth leader who made the gifts public is reportedly travelling by private jet. That image of extraordinary privilege stands in jarring contrast to the hardship facing ordinary Nigerians. The Presidency must stop treating questions about wealth and spending as an inconvenience. Nigerians have a right to ask where the money came from. "Nor is this culture of privilege confined to party officials; it reaches the very household of the President. His own son, Mr Seyi Tinubu, has been pictured, in widely circulated images, wearing a Richard Mille RM 67-02 Sébastien Ogier, a timepiece that sells for close to half a million dollars ($500k), while the same government asks ordinary Nigerians to endure hardship, tighten their belts and wait patiently for relief that never seems to arrive.

For context, @dayoisrael is the youth leader of Nigeria’s ruling APC, the same party whose president, Tinubu, is asking Nigerians to endure more suffering. When a party’s youth leader can donate multiple Prados to party loyalists, you begin to understand why more Nigerians are turning against Tinubu and the APC. If it’s not the First Lady dipping into what is possibly Nigeria's commonwealth to distribute billions in gifts, it’s the President’s son flaunting billions. Now, the party’s youth leader is joining the spectacle, practically telling ordinary Nigerians to eff off! While Nigerians struggle to survive, the ruling elite are competing to see who can flaunt the most wealth. And they wonder why Nigerians are fed up?
