/2 I don’t use a Treadmill for speed but rather mental stimulation This is slow for the puppy compared to outdoor leash walks but staying on the belt in a fairly fixed position is challenging Please never leave your dog tethered on a unit and stay beside them at all times🙏

/3 I start w a full harness that I can guide, grab and lift off the unit if things go sideways I keep it to 2 minutes at the beginning of training Reminder that once a Dog is scared of an activity like this it is VERY hard to decondition Has to be fun from the start💖
