When I’m cycling, motorists impede me far more than I impede them.
When I’m driving, motorists unarguably impede my car’s forward progress more than cyclists impede it.
The grief against people on bikes for “getting in the way” is empirically illogical.
This landuse pattern is not unique to Seattle. But just try to explain it to a motor supremacist who says too much space is devoted to bicycles.
