Aang watching people flee from the flames in Republic City, being reminded of the tragedy that befell the Air Nomads, but choosing to stand and fight instead of running away this time… that was the redemption arc we deserved all along. #avatar

To the ends of the earth just two minutes.
I'm at Fat POS. Here Is My Story. I'm here to talk about the elephant in the room: me. I'm a 30-year-old male who has been fat for most of his childhood and adult life. I want to warn others and encourage them to make changes before they end up in the same situation as me. Guys, being fat is not okay. It has led to a host of problems for me, including high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, dating issues, and diabetes. I can tell you right now that while diabetes runs on one side of my family (my mom's side, with my grandma, grandpa, and uncle all having it), I still believe my lifestyle choices played a role in my developing it. Here's how I got here. I grew up on a farm in the Midwestern United States. I was corn-fed and highly active in sports, but I was always big and muscular. My father's side of the family was "fat-phobic" and always said I was too big, but my mom stuck up for me and let me eat as much as I wanted as a kid. I was 270 lbs at 6'2" as a junior in high school. I wrestled, played golf and football, participated in Boy Scouts, and hunted a lot, too. You could say I was active. Fast-forward to college, and I ballooned to 317 lbs during my freshman year. I decided to do something about it and dropped 117 lbs by eating paleo. I joined the National Guard because I had always wanted to be a soldier. I finished basic training weighing 210 lbs, with a fit, muscular physique. As college went on, and later during grad school, I started eating worse and became depressed about my job prospects with my degree. I began eating more and gained weight until I was back up to 275 lbs. Eventually, I couldn't pass my military physical and was discharged honorably, thank God. I became even more depressed as my weight climbed to an astounding 330 lbs, and I attempted suicide. My cat rubbed against my leg just before I was going to pull the trigger, and I stopped. Yep. Pets save lives. So there I was: poor, fat, depressed, and looking for a better way of life. My parents invited me back to the farm so I could save money, and I accepted. I found a better job that allowed me to live at home and started working out again. I lifted weights and got back down to 265 lbs. Then I hurt my back while attempting a new personal record. My weight skyrocketed again, eventually reaching 375 lbs. I moved out, thanking my parents for all their help, but I kept eating like crap.

Every kid needs someone in their corner. Way of the Warrior is always different.
This man refuses to spend a single dime. He pretends to be a kid to read free newspapers, sneaks past security like a ninja, hides unpaid items in people’s bags & strollers… then still only pays for one pack of gum. But karma hit different . In one word, how would you describe this unlucky guy?

Mbappé faces massive backlash in China after referring to former Chinese leader Mao Zedong as a "Chinese dictator." 🇨🇳⚽️ The Real Madrid star made the comment when discussing a viral meme of himself. The fallout has been immediate and severe: • Deals Cancelled: Major Chinese brands like Mengniu, Dongpeng, and Milkground dropped him instantly, citing "zero tolerance" for actions offending national sentiment. • TV Ban: State broadcaster CCTV has halted all La Liga match broadcasts. • Social Media Restrained: Platforms like RedNote have restricted his account. Mbappé and La Liga have since issued official apologies, with the player calling his remarks "ill-judged." #Mbappe #LaLiga

Dads are expected to be the strong ones, moms get pulled every which way, teens go invisible to protect themselves, little boys never stop, and babies could become anything or nothing.
Brad Bird explains that each person's powers in ‘THE INCREDIBLES’ represents an average family unit. “Fathers are expected to be strong, so I made him super strong. Mothers are pulled in ten directions at once, so she stretches. Teenagers are insecure & defensive so she can turn invisible & has force fields. 10-year old boys are energy balls that just go until they pass out. Babies are unknowns, they could be the next leader of the free world or they could be a bag man, you don’t know.” (Source: @ThatHollywood)

WHO REALLY WINS SUPERMAN VS. SENTRY One is the symbol of hope in the DC Universe. The other is one of Marvel’s most terrifying powerhouses. Superman has faced gods, world-ending threats, and enemies capable of challenging his strength. Sentry possesses power on an incredible scale, but his greatest strength may also be connected to his greatest weakness. If these two went head-to-head, who would actually win? SUPERMAN Superman’s greatest advantage isn’t just his strength. It’s the combination of strength, speed, flight, heat vision, durability, and combat experience. His speed is particularly dangerous. He can cover enormous distances in moments, react to powerful opponents, and potentially end a fight before his opponent has time to respond. He’s also fought enemies far beyond ordinary physical threats, and his determination makes him difficult to put down. SENTRY Sentry is far more than Marvel’s version of Superman. His powers include immense strength, flight, energy manipulation, and extraordinary durability. Depending on the comic-book version and circumstances, his abilities can reach frightening levels. His connection to the Void introduces another dangerous dimension: an immensely destructive force that can make him even harder to deal with. Unlike a straightforward battle of strength, fighting Sentry can become a question of whether his opponent can handle the full range of his powers. SO, WHO WINS? This is closer than many people think. Superman’s speed, experience, and consistency give him a strong chance. But Sentry’s more extreme comic-book feats, energy abilities, and connection to the Void make him a serious threat. My verdict: SENTRY has the edge when both are judged by their highest mainstream comic-book showings, including his more extreme power feats. However, this isn’t a definitive result. Both characters have wildly different power levels across different stories, and Superman’s strongest versions could change the outcome completely.

🎬THE AVENGERS DIDN'T LOSE IN INFINITY WAR BECAUSE THANOS WAS STRONG. THEY LOST BECAUSE THEY WERE SELFISH. Strange had seen 14 million futures and knew this was the one chance. Iron Man and Spider-Man had him pinned, Drax and Mantis had him helpless, and Quill just had to keep it together for 10 more seconds while they pulled the gauntlet off. But Thanos told him he killed Gamora, and Quill — a man who claims to love her — chose to punch Thanos in the face instead of saving half the universe. That's not love. That's ego. He wanted revenge more than he wanted her back. One punch, and the gauntlet stayed on. And it wasn't just him. Thor had Thanos dead to rights at the end, axe in his chest, and instead of cutting his head off he had to give a speech: "I told you you'd die for that." He wanted Thanos to know who killed him. He wanted revenge for Loki, for his people, for his eye. Wanda had to destroy the stone, but she waited because she couldn't let go of Vision. Strange gave up the Time Stone to save Tony, even though he said he wouldn't. Everyone had a job and everyone made it personal. Thanos was the only one on that battlefield who was willing to lose what he loved most to win. That's why he won.

🎬WAS SPIDER-MAN ACTUALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR UNCLE BEN'S DEATH BECAUSE HE NEEDED TO LEARN A LESSON Peter didn't fail to stop the robber because he was weak or distracted. He watched him run past, looked the security guard in the eye, and let him go. On purpose. Out of spite. The guard said "You could have stopped him," and Peter said "Not my problem." He had the power. He had the chance. He was right there, faster and stronger than any man in that building, and he chose to do nothing because his ego was bruised. Five minutes later that same man, with that same gun Peter let walk out the door, shot Uncle Ben in the chest over a car. That's not bad luck. That's cause and effect. And that's the dark truth Marvel keeps softening with "with great power comes great responsibility." Peter didn't learn responsibility after Ben died. He learned it because Ben died for his irresponsibility. Ben wasn't killed by a criminal — he was killed by Peter's first decision to be selfish with power. If Peter had just done the basic human thing, stuck out his hand, tripped the guy, Ben would have come home, May would never have grieved, and Spider-Man might never have needed to exist. So every time Peter saves someone now, he's not just being a hero. He's paying interest on a debt he created that night in that wrestling arena.
