Replying to @feelsdesperate
what annoys me is that unless you're a 2nd/3rd generation New Yorker who inherents it from your family, nearly ALL rent-stabilized apartments are snapped up by savvy, college-educated young people who can research the city databases and know that landlords will favor them as single, $100k+ earners (which is fine). but the same people refuse to admit that their cunning behavior shows the system is actually not fair to working class people.
Since this president won't say it, I will. It's time for the veterans that have served this country to receive the recognition, support, and respect they deserve. Not next election, not next year. Now.
This is a long shot, however I would like to know, and im certain others are curious as well, as to the richest man in the world's thoughts on homelessness in America? 🤔
When you were raised as a child, were you nurtured, and treated with love? Were you also taught to treat others the same? You don't have to answer my question. Just something to think about.
I am a marine. I also am homeless. I can attest to the extreme hardship of life on the street, after serving my country. It's time for America's leaders to make homelessness a thing of the past, along with finally giving vets the support they deserve. Drop some ❤️ 👇if you agree
I am a marine veteran. I also am homeless. That makes me a homeless veteran. Living in both worlds has shown me that we should care more about those that served our country, as well as those whose lives have been devastated by unfortunate circumstances. Peace. ❤️🇺🇸
I want to thank Daniel Negreanu for his generosity, kindness and support in seeing my story, and sharing it! May God bless this man with success, happiness, and prosperity always! @RealKidPoker nitter.gq/realkidpoker/status/16…
My @RadioAmanda is an internet sleuth and found the guy and he has a GoFundme to get his car back if you are interested:

I am the driver in this video. You might not know how much a tip can mean to your driver- or what they might be experiencing. It’s easy to judge someone’s situation unless you are in their shoes. Linktree in my bio has a petition for drivers that has over 18,000 signatures ❤️

The system isn’t perfect so it’s on us to be mindful of the reality of the situation
A person drives to get your food and deliver it to your door so you don’t have to
That’s an awesome service and it’s on us to show gratitude via generosity

Homeless Uber Eats driver cries after getting a small $1 tip, asks 'how am I supposed to survive'...
No because this is really sad… Lisa Marie Presley passed away at the young age of 54. She was a mother, an icon- and kept her father’s music and legacy alive. She had a heart of gold and helped others in many ways. Rest In Peace ❤️👑🕊
Jeff Beck, innovator, pioneer, Two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and one of the greatest to ever pick up a guitar, passed away yesterday. Freeway Jam, forever. RIP ❤️🕊🎸

That video of a man spraying a homeless person with a hose is one of the most disturbing things I've seen. When we dehumanize the homeless for their poverty we not only create the conditions for them to be hurt, we also equate human-ness with wealth, which is immensely dangerous.
