Cannot afford basic hospital bills but with multiple wives. Systemic failure aside, a huge part of poverty in this part of the world is self imposed.

So, how can you label someone a kafir simply because their understanding or ideology differs from yours? 😳

Imagine someone who is looking for any possibility to kill other people for religious or doctrinal differences, looking you in the face and saying you don't know Islam! Imagine the audacity.

There is no difference between someone who commits an act of terrorism, someone who takes pleasure in it, someone who supports it, and someone who tries to justify it. They are all terrorists.

Imagine slaughtering a person because they have a different opinion about a book you both believe in. Imagine rationalising this death, asking while his body is still warm and wet from his own blood, why he does not believe in the traditions you believe in. There are many terrorists in that hellhole called Nigeria. The terrorists that are easy to identify are those with guns. But by far the larger number are the cowards, who hide behind those with guns and knives and throw questions to the bodies lying lifeless on the floor. How dare you not believe in Hadith they say to the dead, bleeding body. If only you did not say those things. I would not kill you myself but why did you go and get yourself killed they say. And those cowards, they are everywhere, in politics, in academia, in the civil service, in journalism, posing as normal human beings.

So because there r religious zealots in the south means we should all be zealots ? What does the extremism in the North have anything to do with South. Just focus on the problem. BTW, u don’t have to dig into anything, the violence is everywhere. EVERYWHERE.
As you're digging into the North & Islam to expose Cannon, So I wish you shall dig into South & Christianity to also expose same Cannon. Because both the regions & religions have Cannons when the other religion possesses more Cannons. Pastor Oritsenjafor is an example during GEJ.

It’s that simple. Lack of courage and access. Otherwise we’re looking at full Shekaru commandants in our midst.
The only difference between some of you here and Shekau is that you are cowards. Extremists cunts 😡

In 2005 in FUT Minna, same Ebira extremists started an all out war against Christians right there on Bosso campus. When they saw that Christians regrouped and mounted a formidable counterattack, they had to disperse. No be today.

Didn’t start in 2014/15. As far back as the 80s some Ebira students dropped out of their universities and moved to a particular Middle East country to “learn the deen”. There’s an extremism issue in Kogi central.
When ISIS were at the height of their violence around 2014/15, i personally know two guys from my area that went to syria to join them. Many Ebira boys joined that time, infact one of their senior recruiter was my senior brother friend in Futminna. DSS got him around 2016.

How do I explain to my children that I practise a religion where insulting our Prophet can be treated as a crime punishable by death? How do I teach them that human life matters when some people believe a person deserves to die for words? What do I tell them when the faith I teach them to love seems to demand a life in exchange for an insult? 😔

I think Muslims need to understand something uncomfortable. Non-Muslims do not owe Muhammad their respect. They do not believe he was a prophet, and some do not even consider him a good man. You can disagree with them, but you cannot demand that they see him the way you do. Your reverence for someone does not create an obligation for the rest of the world to revere him. So, are we going to kill everyone who insults Muhammad, or are we going to learn to practise our religion in a world where not everyone shares our beliefs? Because the world is not going to become Muslim just to protect our feelings. We have two choices: learn to live with our differences or spend our lives fighting a world we cannot control. You cannot force people to love your prophet by making them afraid to criticise him. You can only teach them to fear those who claim to love him.
