Hey I’m just going to toss this out into the void. X is doing this thing where if you post 15 vids on 15 unique days they give you a $1.5k creator bonus. I’ve been saying I want to make high production value, educational videos for literal years. The videos I used to make went consistently viral and took like ½ hour each, but I wasn’t proud of them at all. And now I’m spending 4-6 ish hours on these videos and I’m still not proud of them and they also get way less views. I don’t feel like I’m getting enough done in any area of my life, intellectually or creatively or professionally, but still I feel so exhausted. Every day is over before I know it and I haven’t produced anything I’m proud of, or anything special imo. I feel so inadequate. And I know it’s probably bc I’m spread too thin but I don’t feel like I afford to prune anything more. I want to have real depth of knowledge in a technical space and I want to write insightfully and poetically about impactful things, and I wanna own my distribution. Those are my three goals and i worry every day that I’m going about them so horribly inefficiently that I’ll never get there. I just remember something my friend said, that it’s inevitable, when ur young, that your taste will exceed your abilities. The only thing to do is to keep going. And if you feel like ur really good at what ur doing ur not in a place of maximal growth. I don’t know how to make good videos. I don’t know how to pick the right problems to solve. I don’t know how to define technical excellence. But I’ll figure it out. I’m quite sure this is what I want to be good at. And that being good at these things will align with all the more meta level things that make my life feel full and important and rich. And I have people who love me. I’ll be fine.

The experts have spoken
This is somewhat consistent with our own research (Grandas et al., 2026). We found AI rates older people as less attractive and women higher than men. But we found no strong evidence of an ethnic or racial bias. arxiv.org/abs/2609.02512

I wanna use codex more for vibe coding but Claude code seems to have more agency , and codex seems like the lazy kid who uses their intelligence to get away with doing less

Content is sounding more and more like algorithmic trading each day
We're living through the greatest attention opportunity of our generation and not enough people are talking about it. Agentic video editing is PEDs for the algorithm era, except there are no needles or side effects, and you get rewarded for taking more. The time from idea -> published video AND the skill + resources required to do it have been compressed to literal seconds and a $20/mo Claude sub. You're competing with millions of other accounts for a spot on the For You page with each video. Most of them would have to google the world "agentic" if you told them about agentic video editing. You can make both more videos, and more creative ones, than the same accounts you're competing – for fewer resources in less time. This video has 46K views and has brought me 500+ followers (IG app doesn't sync w/ Manychat). > had the idea on the way to the office last week to give away a Github repo with a LinkedIn process to help founders > built the repo in 10 minutes when I got to the office, because we had so much of it pre-documented in our SOPs > filmed the 19-second script in 1 min at 7:30am in the WeWork > told Claude what animations I wanted and had it edited in 20 mins > set up Manychat automation (manually.... yuck) The only thing I'm worse at than coding is animation. Even a year ago, this would've required a software engineer and an animator. Hell, I could've taken this a step further and got Claude to make me 10 different animations, test them as trial Reels, and post the winner to my main feed for very little extra effort. Go forth and post.

Gna try ts today
Let me tell you a story about how unethical Anthropic is. In April, the Anthropic team began heavily courting our engineering team to tell them corporate secrets, technical details, and future plans for @cfosilvia. They pretended their interest was due to our exploding popularity and accelerating compute usage, but it quickly became apparent that Anthropic was fishing for details on how we built our product and why it was so popular. This included the Anthropic team trying to wine-and-dine our engineers, including a infamous steak dinner where someone told our team "don't worry about it, this is on Dario." Our team was not born yesterday, so we quickly realized what was happening and refused to share sensitive information and technical details with the Anthropic team. As we suspected, Anthropic was trying to get information from us, so they could build a competing product. Some people on their team must have a guilty conscious because they messaged us a few days ago to give us "a heads-up" that they were launching a competing product. Thankfully, the Silvia engineering team has been aggressively working to get off the frontier models for the last ~ 6 months. That effort has been highly successful, because our compute costs are ~ 97% lower when we use our own model & hardware, the latency is lower, and the accuracy of answers materially increases as well. The sad thing for Anthropic is they have now released an inferior product and they had to sell their soul to do it. The only thing worse than being a trillion-dollar company that can't beat a 10-person team is being a trillion-dollar company that no one trusts and everyone knows is unethical. Serious investors continue to choose @cfosilvia over ChatGPT, Claude, and other frontier companies because these products are not optimized to solve the actual user problem. Today, Anthropic launched a Claude wrapper that is masquerading as a personal finance product. Best of luck to them. But I will take the Silvia misfits vs the Anthropic losers any day of the week. if you want to support people trying to do things the right way, and help investors be more informed, then consider signing up for Silvia today: silvia.com

Imagine if there’s a micro1 feature where they help match make consumers and their personal data with AI agent companies who would pay a fortune for your old iMessage texts. Quick way to make a buck

Personal agents can make executive dysfunction a myth
People who think personal agents are just for rich tech people are incredibly misguided. For millions of people, a personal agent will be THE interface to a computer. They will not own a computer, or need one outside of work. Almost everything you can’t do from a phone today, will be done by personal agents you direct. Even the way you interact with your phone will change. This is why personal agents will propagate to the masses, and I don’t think it’s talked about enough.
