It’s 100% obvious the officiating in the NFL is used to do the following:
1) Keep games close so they’re more interesting. They will purposely only call penalties against the better team keeping the losing team alive. We have more overtime’s than ever. Closer 4th quarters than ever. It’s all by design.
2) Swing betting odds to favor the betting houses. We have never seen so many good teams lose to bad teams before in this sports history. The league is clearly doing this for gambling purposes, and making a lot of money doing so. People typically bet on the better teams to always win. When they rig a game against a good team the betting houses and the NFL make a lot of money.
3) Balancing out the divisions. The NFL does not want undefeated teams, and crappy teams. Fans tune out if their teams have a losing record, especially this early in the season. They want to keep the illusion of playoff hopes alive for every team as long as possible even if that means helping bad teams win games they have no business winning.
4) By aggressively officiating they put more pressure on teams to take more risks they normally wouldn’t take. This increases the odds for turnovers, big plays, and mistakes which give more control back to the officials to decide the outcome of a game. The pressure the officials exert creating longer downs and distances, changing field position, granting phantom first downs to keep drives alive, all change the outcomes of the game.
5) The rules have become so nuanced the officials can literally reverse clear and obvious touchdowns and points scored. It’s to the point where teams have to score twice for even one of the touchdowns to count.
This is where I draw the line lmao. Straight up schizophrenia.
that fire ngl
Jaylen Brown says he bought a gold harp, and now has someone come over twice a week to play it as the sun goes down while his chef cooks dinner
“My favorite purchase, I think my best, my most favorite purchase was, I bought a harp. I bought like a gold harp. I got it upstairs too…”
“I got a harpist that come play like twice a week. While the sun is going down, chef is in the kitchen. You know what I mean? Just…”
these owners are scum of the earth
Terry Robiskie says as an NFL head coach he once received a message from his team's owner telling him not to let a player on his team earn his $300,000 contract bonus for total receptions, and says instead of listening to the owner he deliberately called plays to help that player reach the incentive
“Larry Centers was our fullback, and your daddy would always feature him. Your daddy made sure Larry Centers caught six, seven balls a game. He was the best at getting balls in the right hands of the right people.”
“I'll never forget it. We were playing Arizona, which was Larry's old team. Larry came to my office, sat down at my desk, and said, ‘Coach, you know, I didn't make that much money this year on my salary. But I need six catches in this game.’”
“And Norv would always get him seven, nine catches. He said, ‘I need six catches in this game. If I get those six catches, man, I got a $300,000 bonus.’ And I turned and looked at him. I said, ‘Three hundred? Are you crazy? I don't make but $140,000. I'm the head coach!’”
“He said, ‘Coach, man, I gotta get these six catches for this $300,000, man. I'll give you a thousand.’ I said, ‘Okay, good. Give me a thousand!’ But right then, that guy wanted to know, ‘Coach, do you really care about me?’ You know what I mean? And I know that I got a little note from the owner of that team saying, ‘Don't let that guy get them six catches.’”
“I threw him seven balls in the first quarter. I made sure he got them. I never got my thousand dollars from him. I gotta get my thousand! But I made sure he had his incentive. And I told the owner, ‘If you don't want him to make that incentive, don't put it in his contract, because I'm the wrong guy.’ I'm the wrong guy.”
damn this is sad. this is actually a lot of guys realities. Make sure your marriage is centered in Christ.

heartbreaking man. So evil
RJ Mitte reveals how he was financially exploited at just 17 while trying to protect his Breaking Bad earnings.
“I’ve paid more in taxes than I got from Breaking Bad. As a young kid, I had a big team, traveled the world, and spent money keeping my career going. Everything went back into the business.”
A bad business manager made things worse.
“During the last four years of my highest-earning series, I wanted to protect my money. I was 17 or 18, and everyone was telling me to get a proper accountant.”
Instead, he got scammed.
“Dude, I got eaten alive.”
He says the woman targeted 14 other actors, including people with disabilities and older performers.
“I’d write a check to pay my taxes, and instead of paying them, she’d send me a fake tax filing and keep the money.”
He still takes responsibility for what happened.
“At the end of the day, though, it was my negligence. The IRS doesn’t really care about you.” 😔
