Hi 👋🏾 I dropped a short film on depression on my YouTube. I really love creating, being vulnerable and sharing my life lessons through art.

They don’t make episodes like this no more. Smart Guy🎬
My husband invited his mistress to our tenth wedding anniversary dinner, seated her three chairs away from me, and watched me thank her for coming. But the affair wasn’t what destroyed me. It was discovering that almost everyone at that table had helped him hide it. There were twelve guests, including my parents, my younger sister, my husband’s brother, and friends we’d known for years. He’d reserved a private dining room at a restaurant where dinner cost more than our monthly mortgage. Everyone was laughing, ordering expensive wine, and telling stories about our marriage. The woman sat beside my sister, wearing a delicate gold bracelet identical to one I’d found in my husband’s car six months earlier. He’d claimed it was a gift for his brother’s girlfriend. I might have dismissed the coincidence if I hadn’t watched my sister lean over and whisper, “You okay? I know tonight’s awkward.” The woman nodded and glanced at my husband. Something cold settled in my stomach. When my husband stepped outside to take a call, I followed him into the hallway. “How long?” I asked. His expression changed immediately. “Please don’t do this here.” That was all the confirmation I needed. “How long?” I repeated. “Almost two years,” he admitted. I stared at him. “And they know?” He didn’t answer. When I walked back into the room, nobody asked why I’d been crying. My mother simply reached across the table, squeezed my hand, and whispered, “Sweetheart, just get through dinner.” I realized then that she wasn’t comforting me. She was asking me to cooperate.

went on colors and gave it my all. i used to not be able to sing in public because my stage fright was so bad. conquering that fear has been my greatest gift. watching this made me emotional knowing how far i’ve come. grateful i pushed through the fear…look at what it got me.

Restart again. Find your spark again. Set goals again. Forgive yourself again. Be a kid again. Trust your guts again. Show up again. Step by step.

intellectual compatibility is so fucking erotic to me. being understood, challenged, mentally stimulated, and genuinely fascinated by the way someone thinks. there’s something so intimate about connecting with someone on a level that makes you crave more of their mind

You’re alone because you are a leader. You are the one who is destined to pave the way for others. You are not alone, you are first.

I have a question! If you’re in a relationship with someone and you feel like the spark isn’t there anymore, even though you clearly love each other, is it okay to seek that spark elsewhere just for fun?

Love this because we need more mature artists.
Kelela is a door opener for artists and the sooner that’s understood the easier it’ll be to digest the fact that next superstar won’t just b 20 yrs old.

So hard to understand that love is not possession. Trying to control what people do is not love. The constant need to control other people is a representation a lack of control you have in your own life. To love and care for someone is to give them the freedom to be them
