If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed.......and we will deserve it.

I look forward to watching this kind of stuff again and again for months. Where's your messiah now, MAGA? Oh, right: Picking out floor-marble samples and ogling men's asses like the cohost of a home-flipping show on HGTV.
Proud Boys Founder Gavin McInnes LOST IT at Me, CRASHED OUT as Republicans got CRUSHED on election night.

Completely addicted to these vapid, boneheaded, completely useless design-magazine listicles

The sooner Dems regulate the SHIT out of AI companies, the better #art

Fascinating to see him handle potentially embarrassing candid moments like this. Absolutely born to it. There's always danger of overexposure (see: Newsom), but if he has a couple more good years in the Senate, he's the one for Dems in 2028. I like Pete, but . . . Biden holdover.

My favorite Peanuts strip, much earlier than this (1960s?), is darkly, almost surreally comic: While Linus and Lucy examine the ruins of Snoopy's burned-down dog house, Lucy says over and over, "He was probably smoking in bed." (She later invokes "sinning" in the same story arc!)
This strip is genuinely devastating. Like he knew it was soon and he was accepting it

My God, Osaka's statement is LITERALLY a string of anodyne, nonspecific clichés, one after another—a parody of every postgame locker-room interview ever. The only thing missing is a thank-you to the Big Guy.
Wow, a pretty damning article with diverse lines of evidence.

This is absolute metaphysical perfection.

Holy shit . . . I did NOT know that Iowa(!) just elected a former male runway model as governor, and also, that black trench coat is 🔥🔥🔥
🔓LEAKED: Rob Sand's 2003/04 controversial runway footage during his time as a fashion model in Paris and Milan for Prada, Giuliano Fujiwara, and Number (N)ine has been found online. Sand has noted that modeling at age 20/21 was one of his "craziest jobs." 📸SOURCE: Fashion Channel via YouTube

Of course it's just like any other random minute in Trumpworld, but imagine ANY other U.S. president saying that his party would not only "win" (they didn't), but also that, re: the party that actually won, "we're going to shove it up their asses." In public. To the world.
omg. This montage from Jimmy Kimmel last night.

This is the final Cook Political Report rating pre election. Dems won every "Likely D "seat. They won every toss up seat. They won or are ahead in 7 of the 18 "Lean R"'s, they won 7 of the 17 ""Likely R". Dems won all their likely or safe seats, Dems also picked up 2 "solid" R seats.

FWIW re: Marsha Blackburn bailing out the Secretary of Scotch out by naming him to a Senate seat in Tennessee. The corner he's painted into is about the size of a saltine cracker. It's just a matter of resignation, firing, or impeachment and conviction.

This is all quite satisfying, and though I'd prefer the humiliation of impeachment and conviction, Trump will never allow it, purely as a matter of ego. He will permit Hegseth to "resign"—or be fired. Hegseth would be a fool to resist. He is, with metaphysical certainty, toast.
Isn’t Schumer’s first move to make clear the future senate won’t vote on any Iran war budget while Hegseth is SecDef? If Trump fires H before, he looks like he’s capitulating to Dems. If he keeps him, Schumer has set the groundwork for impeachment with GOP support. 1/

I pressed Grok from several angles on her political affiliation and came up with nothing, but let's be adults here: Tell me you can't tell from the photo. You can just see it in some people—across the political spectrum, to be clear. That face was a staple on COPS.

The paranoia/conspiracism over this is getting pretty annoying. A lot of Republicans met with Merrick Garland when he was a SCOTUS nominee. Mamdani went to the Oval Office. I assure you he is not donning a MAGA hat anytime soon. Pro forma meetings are a standard part of politics.
Why DID Jeffries meet with Kushner? Do we know the real reason?

LOL, I came across this listicle on the never-not-disappointing @ClassicFM and wondered how far they were going to push this, and . . . they didn't disappoint! Amy Beach?! (NOT on the list: Liszt, Berlioz, Saint-Saëns, Ives, Sibelius, Ravel, Bartók, Shostakovich, Copland, et al).

Kathy Hochul didn't just end the careers of Mike Lawler, Elise Stefanik and Bruce Blakeman. She has sent NY Republicans into civil war. What a boss.
Elise Stefanik is a selfish, do nothing politician that didn’t lift a finger to help Republican candidates in New York this year. She had one moment of glory in what was otherwise an unremarkable career.
