My Important Personal Note After the Recent Political Developments I am writing this with complete honesty and clarity. I feel it is important to share my thoughts openly—not out of anger, personal gain or against anyone, but because I believe I owe an explanation to the people who have travelled with me. My political aspiration began in 2013, when I was in 10th grade and became a follower of Narendra Modi ji. His vision for India gave me confidence about the country's future. As an IIT aspirant then, I genuinely believed that India was moving towards a different future. In 2021, I officially joined the TN BJP, primarily because of two people who inspired me—Narendra Modi ji and Annamalai Anna. Between 2022 and 2026, I took up different responsibilities in the organisation, starting from the Mandal Social Media Cell and gradually moving into State-level youth, social-media responsibilities and election digital campaign management. I worked on the Arakkonam Parliamentary Constituency social-media network, helped build teams across districts, coordinated 150+ social-media pages and influencers and 30+ WhatsApp groups during the "En Mann En Makkal Yatra, 2024 Lok Sabha and 2026 State Assembly elections, organised outreach programmes on PM's initiatives, organised digital outreach programmes on PM Modi's initiatives, supported campaigns for multiple leaders, enrol more than 170+ new members, national level and state level trendings, team administration, content distributions, worked on youth mobilisation and was also given the responsibility of identifying and training young orators. I am proud of the work I did. After observing and thinking about the recent developments, I have come to one personal conclusion: For me, the 2029 Lok Sabha election is extremely important, and I need to support on Narendra Modi ji's larger national vision. There are also several other reasons behind this decision, but I would prefer not to discuss all of them publicly. As someone who has admired Annamalai Anna and worked sincerely during his tenure, I never used his name for my own political gain, social media followers, likes, personal influence, or to mislead and manipulate people like few does. In this short span of 4-5 years of my journey in BJP, I have never used anyone to target any individual. Instead I only promoted leader's vision, thoughts, ideas to people. I am particularly proud of the effort we(as team) put into building a strong Instagram presence for Annamalai anna, managing multiple supporting pages, helping other pages grow and consistently creating and distributing contents on daily basis. I entered politics in 2021 with two inspirations. Today, I have made my decision about the direction in which I want to continue. Let's win 2029 for Modi ji. Even now, when building a new platform, why appoint people aged 55+ to key positions instead of bringing in fresh faces — former bureaucrats, government officers, young professionals and promising young leaders? Is it a lack of young talent, or an insecurity about letting the new individual rise to his level within his organization? Just my genuine questions, I expect matured and genuine answers not the abuse or blame game. And coming to the BJP Tamil Nadu state president issue, let the party decide. @pandiyarajdsp Anna has made several contributions to the party’s growth, and if he is chosen, we will welcome him wholeheartedly.
