The Court has granted our temporary injunction. The National Guard is being ordered to leave memphis. I will never stop fighting for the people of our county and the rule of law.

Thank you to Tennessee State University for having us at the homecoming parade yesterday. It is time that we have a Governor that fully funds our HBCU’s and ensures that they have the supports in place that they deserve. Go Tigers!
Early voting is open NOW until Oct 29th. Election Day is Nov 3rd.

Faith, Family, and Freedom are values we as Tennesseans hold dear. For far too long, the GOP has acted as if they have a monopoly on these values, while enacting policies that betray them.
It’s time for change. It’s time to put our values into action to benefit every Tennessean. Join our movement at greenforgovernor.com

Knoxville, Lenoir City, Manchester, South Pittsburg, and Chattanooga—thank you for having us!
Our campaign is showing up in every corner of this state to make one thing clear: every single Tennessean matters. No matter who you are, how you worship, who you love, or how you vote, I will fight for you as your governor.
I hear Elon Musk and his lobbyists are in town trying to stop the data center moratorium.
They’ve got money.
I’ve got Memphis.
And we’re not for sale.

The stage is set for Tennessee to elect a female governor for the first time —
@Jerri_M_Green has asked for debates.
@MarshaBlackburn has made it clear she plans to continue to hide and take Tennessee voters for granted.

I’m Jerri Green, and I’m proud to say I am officially your Democratic nominee for Governor—making history as the first woman ever nominated by our party to be the next Governor of Tennessee.
We started this movement because Tennessee families deserve a leader who fights for groceries they can afford, world-class public schools, and healthcare that doesn’t bankrupt them—not out-of-touch extremists answering only to the wealthy and well-connected.
Thank you to everyone who helped us build this grassroots movement. I’m so grateful to have you on my team.
Let’s go make history again.

I am so so proud to have the incredible @AyannaPressley's endorsement in my campaign to represent TN-09 in U.S. Congress!
Just wondering if the “seat at the table” helped out with the gerrymandering of our community. While they were at the “table”, we were on the menu.
Trying to write our representation out of existence. This is egregious.
It doesn’t take a genius to recognize why Republicans are suddenly taking aim at majority Black communities with their redistricting efforts. They see our participation in democracy as a threat to their power.
Democracy is a threat to a Republican Party more interested in securing power than the will of the people. Redistricting is an excuse for them to dilute all of our political power for the sake of their interests.
Tennessee’s radical Republican supermajority is trying to erase our 9th Congressional District and silence Shelby County.
This is a power grab to dilute our voices and rig the map because they cannot win the people.
We will not be erased. We must fight this.
There’s no excuse for maintaining the same old status quo anymore. We’ve seen where that gets us. We need change from the bottom up with leaders who understand what working families need and how to get them what they deserve. That’s the leader I promise to be.
When our communities are underfunded, people leave. If we want future generations to develop real roots in the places we’ve called home for so long, we have to invest in them every step of the way and give them a future worth fighting for.
We’re getting closer to Election Day, and closer than ever to charting a positive, pro-community future for Shelby County. I’m excited to hopefully win, and in doing so start doing the work that working families need to prosper.
