This is a big mistake to allow the aggressor to take something. It was a big mistake at the very beginning, starting with 2014. And even before that, during the attack and occupation of parts of Georgia. And even before that, when Chechnya was occupied, with total destruction and one million casualties – both killed and wounded.
Many mistakes were made. That's why now I don't want to be the President who will repeat the mistakes made by my predecessors or other people. I'm not just speaking about Ukraine. I'm speaking about the leaders of different countries that allowed an aggressive country like Russia to come onto their territory.
Because you can't stop Putin with your kisses or flowers. I never did it and that's why I don’t feel that it's the right way. My advice to everybody – don’t do that with Putin.
Otherwise, there will be a first step, then in five years, he will rebuild his military, increase the number of soldiers, his army will be well trained. Because he has lost a lot of well-trained people. He is losing 30–35 thousand people per month now.
Can you imagine this in the 21st century? Can you imagine – he’s losing 35,000 each month? I'm not sure that he knows about it.

Statement from the Nobel Foundation
One of the core missions of the Nobel Foundation is to safeguard the dignity of the Nobel Prizes and their administration. The Foundation upholds Alfred Nobel’s will and its stipulations. It states that the prizes shall be awarded to those who "have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind," and it specifies who has the right to award each respective prize. A prize can therefore not, even symbolically, be passed on or further distributed.

The UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution initiated by Ukraine and European countries.
The resolution designates Russia as an aggressor state and demands the withdrawal of its armed forces from Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
The document was supported by 93 states.
The United States, Russia, Belarus, Israel, and several other countries voted against it.

WE NOW HAVE A YEAR OF DATA SINCE 20MPH WAS INTRODUCED IN WALES
There were around 100 fewer people killed or seriously injured on 20/30mph roads.
The number of casualties in 2024 from July-Sept was the lowest Q3 figures in Wales since records began.
Over the year since it came in the number of casualties on roads affected by the law is 28% lower than the year before.
This is good policy making.

As promised, I am publishing every violation that I personally recorded during the Georgian elections at Marneuli polling stations 50 and 48, as well as footage that other observers recorded when I was verbally and physically assaulted. 🧵
1/ Polling Station 50: In this video, fake observers (deliberately placed by Georgian Dream to hinder our monitoring) demand I keep a 3-meter distance from the registration tables. I argue for my right to closely monitor the devices, as from 3 meters distance, I couldn't see the screen of the devices, and thus, I couldn’t validate if the person matched the ID they presented to vote.

What seems to be happening in Georgia is the dictator's playbook, seen recently in Belarus. You lose an election, but claim victory. Then you use the security services to crack down brutally and assert your power. The question is whether friends of Georgia and democracy will do anything.
