I wanted to become involved with this because I felt there was a gap in community when I was younger. I hope PIs send their students to the first PoWER conference, where I bet students will form long-lasting networks.

Congratulations for this much deserved recognition! @JChemPhys is proud to be the home for some of the early work in this field,including the seminal papers by Brus in 1983 that started the field of colloidal qdots.
So excited to see this celebration of this new world of nanochemistry, physics at the boundary of length scales, and the promise of the properties emerging there. Congratulations to the deeply deserving winners and to all in the community!
