Last night, Republicans lost the U.S. House, the U.S. Senate, and my home state of Texas, a conservative cornerstone for more than three decades, because our party forgot the basic rules of coalition politics:
1. Add, don’t subtract
2. Be likeable
3. Do what you promised
4. Character & integrity still matter

It's not pro-life laws that endanger women. It's widespread misinformation.

Today is World Mental Health Day, and we’re highlighting the truth the abortion industry doesn’t want you to know.
Compared to women who give birth, women who have an abortion are:
* 116% more likely to hospitalized for attempted suicide
* 157% more likely to be hospitalized for substance use
* 80% more likely to be hospitalized for mental health
Don’t fall for Big Abortion’s lies. Abortion is not a mental health solution.

A toddler was euthanized in the Netherlands for the first time.
For being disabled.
This child was born prematurely, developed cerebral palsy, was diagnosed with epilepsy, was visually impaired, had a developmental delay, and would be dependent the rest of his life.
He was severely disabled, but he was not dying.
This child's disabilities were not the problem.
The society that would rather put him to death than care for him is.

This is racist and sinful rhetoric that seeks to harm and to divide. It is disturbing that it comes from a candidate for public office. An apology is called for. @FWdiocese @NTCatholic @TXCatholic @USCCBGovRel #Txlege
