On Monday, I visited a school in Jericho. It once served 140 children from nearby Bedouin communities. Now classrooms are empty as families had to leave due to repeated violence. Children’s right to learn must be protected.

At today’s Foreign Affairs Council, I made clear to all 27 🇪🇺 ministers: the ceasefire is fragile. Aid must urgently reach Gaza at scale. All crossings must reopen.
The NGO registration process is a major obstacle to deliver help. @eu_echo has to be allowed to return to Gaza.

Meet Sham, 7, evacuated from #Gaza to Romania by
@WHO, with support from @eu_echo, for specialized surgery and rehabilitation after an explosion severely injured her leg.
She waited five months for medical evacuation.
Thanks to the Romanian government’s support, Sham has recovered and can walk again.
Approximately, 11,000–13,000 people in Gaza, including 4,500 children, still need medical evacuation.
WHO continues to call for increased approvals through all possible routes, including the restoration of medical referrals to the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
