holy shit -- turns out Jack Smith went to a Hawkeyes game in Maryland but Schmitt's team is so reckless they concocted a conspiracy theory that Smith was actually in Atlanta seeing a Hawks game and colluding with Fani Willis. Klobuchar points out to Schmitt, "you have your teams wrong."

ICE is beyond repairing. We can't reform our way out of this. Strip it down to the studs and start over.

when you accept that JD Vance literally doesn’t believe in anything, and has the ethics and affect of a slithering reptile or even worm, a lot of stuff sort of snaps into focus.
J.D. Vance once decried Catholics who did not show “proper deference to the papacy, treating the pope as a political figure to be criticized or praised according to their whims.”
He is now one of those Catholics.

We’ve known this from the get-go. This is the most corrupt Administration in American history.
Suspicious high-volume trades before major POTUS announcements have been a disturbing pattern during the Trump admin.
Monday was no different as nearly half a billion $ in oil futures trading occurred irregularly just 15 minutes before Trump’s comments pointing to de-escalation in Iran.

ICE agents were present at nearly all the public school bus stops near me today. Bus drivers had to coordinate with parents and vetted volunteers to make sure every single kid made it home safely. Some of the schools sent out warning emails to parents.

Kara Swisher: “Stephen Miller, like Bendetsen who created the internment camps for Japanese, Heinrich Himmler in the Nazi regime, this is what he is. People like Stephen Miller will go down in history as evil, has blood on his hands, and should be jailed at the end of this”

Today, I knocked on ICE’s door.
“ICE is circling the block outside my school,” my friend, a teacher, texted me earlier today.
An elementary school.
After the killing of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, I know I took a risk in tapping on ICE’s window. I urge you to please use caution when approaching ICE and do so at your own risk.
But I wanted to talk to them. I wanted to know who these masked, anonymous people are. ICE didn’t want to talk to me. They ran away rather than have a normal conversation.
Armed, masked individuals in large SUV’s with tinted windows, who refuse to identify themselves. What justifies this? These are not the “worst of the worst.” These are children, teachers, and their parents.
Alex Pretti’s dad: “He cared about people deeply & was very upset with what was happening... He thought it was terrible, you know, kidnapping children, just grabbing people off the street. He cared about those people, and he knew it was wrong, so he did participate in protests.”

It’s actually very simple. The president is trying to apprehend dangerous criminals and all the dangerous criminals live in states that didn’t vote for the president and also they didn’t do anything and also they’re your neighbors and also you’re next if you keep asking questions
