Keeping everyone (including Africans) completely ignorant about Africa and the central role it plays in the economic and natural world is a core feature of Europeanised education, not a bug. You're not supposed to know that the DRC is the most resource-rich country in the world, with an estimated $24 trillion sitting under its soil. You're not supposed to know that the rise of "western civilisation" from the 15th century on was entirely made possible by European contact with Africa, and that the resources and labour extracted from coastal West Africa from 1492 onwards are the entire reason why both American continents exist in their current form. You're not supposed to know that both WW1 and WW2 were essentially wars fought over the right to African colonial domination and expansion, and that even the uranium that was used in "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki came from Shinkolobwe uranium mine in eastern DRC. You're not supposed to know that the reason the country of France exists in its current form is because tens of thousands of conscripted West African soldiers fought and won against the Nazis in Europe, and the French thereafter shipped them back to West Africa and massacred them at Camp Thiaroye in Senegal to avoid paying them their due wages. You're not supposed to know that there was nothing cold about the so-called Cold War, because the vast majority of the hot theaters it was physically fought in were on the continent of Africa. (Zimbabwe, DRC, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Angola, Eritrea, Zambia etc). You're not supposed to know that the ongoing Ukraine war and the war in the Sahel are in fact the same conflict being fought by the same 2 sides, and that the reason France is desperately pushing funding and arms to Ukraine even as it falls into internal crisis is that Ukraine is acting as its proxy army in West Africa, as it tries to regain its lost colonial territories there, especially Niger where the cheap yellowcake uranium for its famously cheap nuclear energy used to come from before the 2023 revolution. You're definitely not supposed to know that the entire global economy and system of trade as you know it is built on ruthless extraction from Africa and ensuring that Africa does not control anything it exports. You're not supposed to know that "Italian leather" doesn't come from Italy - it comes from Kano, Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that "Swiss chocolate" does not exist because cocoa does not grow anywhere in Switzerland or Europe - it comes from Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire and Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that Israel and the UAE control the global diamond and gold markets even though Israel has no diamond mine and the UAE has zero gold mines, because both resources are literally being stolen from the DRC and Sudan on an industrial basis. You're basically not supposed to understand that the entire geopolitical world as you know it, rests entirely on extraction from Africa, poverty of Africans, and your own ignorance about where everything you use comes from. Completely deliberate 500+ year-old feature, not accidental bug.
How did school teach us about the Amazon so much & never once mention the Congo Basin? It's the world's largest tropical carbon sink. The planet is literally breathing through it & nobody thought we should know 😳

I don’t think we should be asking for e transmission. It’s 2026, that’s outdated. We should be doing electronic voting. Thumbprint, vote and it is automatically counted. No more ballot papers or boxes. There’s no reason not to do this

PayPal wants to quietly sneak back into Africa and Nigeria like nothing happened. I literally cried when PayPal closed an account we used in 2022 to collect Bet9ja and Betano ad revenue almost $1,000 gone just like that. A friend of mine lost $4,000. Back then, I rejected a lot of gigs simply because PayPal was the only payment option. I would rather stay jobless than work and have PayPal eventually swallow the money. You can’t treat us like garbage and then walk back into our lives as if nothing happened. Boycott PayPal. We don’t want them. We’ve moved on. Another terrible platform is Payoneer. You receive funds, and then they start requesting documents that an average individual in Nigeria can’t easily obtain. In the end, you’re basically forced to leave the money stuck in the account.

There is a lady like this in front of my estate. I dont buy from her because I mostly buy things in bulk, but I do give her money. I have lived in this estate for over a year now, and I have consistently dashed her money at least twice a week whenever I go for my evening strolls over the last year. And in the previous year, there was no day she didn't greet me when I passed. One day I decided to eat agege bread and thought of her cos she sells it, I got bread for 500 naira and gave her 1k, She took it and searched through her purse for change, she probably expected me to leave the change for her and when I didn't, she said she didn't have 500 naira change even though 500 naira was the first money I saw when she opened her purse. I took off and thought I didn't see clearly. Not long after that I returned to buy bread again and she did the same thing, I was pissed off, should I call this greed or entitlement? This is someone that the least I have given her is 1k and the highest 3k twice a week for over a year. And you still feel so entitled? You couldn't even say take a bread for free or dash me something smaller not like I was expectingher to tho but then I wasn't expectingher to be this greedy, I immediately told her I could see 500 naira change, she should check again and she did then she said “Oh, I didn't see it” She gave me the money, I took it and she looked at up with so much disbelief, well guess what? This woman hasn't greeted me ever since 😂
Always choose to buy from them. They don't sell to get rich. They sell to survive.🥹♥️

So there was this Nigerian lady posting mouth-watering food content. Me, I like food, and honestly, good food is my biggest headache whenever I’m in the UK. I spend like £250 a week for my weekly food supply from Enish. When I saw her page, I thought, “Ah, finally! Someone close to me in London who can cook proper Naija food.” I slid into her DM, we started talking, and somehow we agreed that she’d come over to my place and cook for me. I was genuinely excited, problem solved, right? Out of pure goodwill (she didn’t even ask), I sent her £50 for transport. Just to encourage her. She didn’t acknowledge it, didn’t say thank you, nothing. After a while I called and casually asked if she saw the money I sent. Her reply? “Oh yeah, I saw it. What’s it for?” I said, “it’s for your transport fare.” This babe looked me in the eye (well, through the phone) and said £50 is not enough for her Uber. Meanwhile, from her place to mine is literally £15.50 on the Piccadilly line plus one short bus ride. I was shocked but I calmly asked, “do you take Uber everywhere you go in London?” Because in my head I was trying to understand, is this DJ Cuppy level? As in a Billionaire daughter vibes? Because from everything I’d seen, she didn’t look like it. Her exact words were, “If you can’t afford Uber for me to come, then I’m not coming again.” I just calmly said, “Okay, no problem. Please can you send the £50 back?” and dropped my account details. Two days passed. Nothing. No refund, no message, nada. It wasn’t until I made a random general post (no names, or @ ) just educating people that collecting money from someone with a promise and then disappearing can actually be treated as fraud in the UK, that’s when she flew into my DM cursing me out left and right. She sha finally sent my money back. There are good Nigerian women o but the very entitled ones outnumber the good ones and that’s probably because Nigerian men are simps and the women have been conditioned to see every relationship as transactional. They treat every man approaching them as a cash cow. I am much older now so I can’t simp for any woman. We need to teach our young men never to simp for any woman. It limits your prosperity. Spend that money you are spending on that ungrateful babe on your family members. I have many interesting stories of my escapades with Nigerian women. One day I might write a book😂

Give a Zimbabwean woman £100 and she’ll treat you like you just bought her a mansion in Harare. Kingship unlocked instantly. Zimbabwean women will support you, split bills with you, and still feed you in the other room back to back 😄. Give some Nigerian women £100 and they’ll say, “Is this for fuel or just to hold body?” Many of them don’t believe in 50/50 and they prefer you to be the CFO, CEO, and MD of all bills.

"We send you high value exports including services and finished products, and you send us cheap natural resources, cheap labour and cheap entertainment." It's right in front of whoever wants to get it.
“I’m very proud of what we export to Nigeria. We send you pharmaceuticals, bankers, services of all kinds and huge quantities of whiskey. And in return, you send us oil, gas, Nollywood movies, brilliant doctors, nurses, tech geniuses. We are very, very grateful.” — Boris Johnson, former UK prime minister, at the Imo economic summit

🇳🇬🇬🇭 A social media user secretly filmed the deplorable conditions at Nigeria’s Lagos Airport — highlighting broken air conditioners, poor washrooms, and the lack of WiFi. He then compared it to Accra’s Kotoka International Airport, praising Kotoka as being ‘10 years ahead of time’ due to its modern facilities and superior experience. His video has sparked widespread reactions across social media.

No female lawyer will date to a male food vendor. If he has the audacity to come speak to her, she will shame him before her friends and feel embarrassed for days. I am in support of telling women to go for their level because women will not blink to tell you I am not in your class

There's this tiktok couple, the wife is the one who does the content. They were living in a one room, the wife was always talking about how good the husband is, how he's always taking care of her and how he always goes out of his way to make sure she was happy, in fact she even said her neighbours used to gossip about her that she charmed her husband that's why he was always helping her with everything including house chores. There was a video she made about how her family left her, but it was her husband who stood by her and all. Her content was about their lifestyle. In fact there was this particular video where they were doing competition of who farts the most, they were all very much in love with each other or so we thought. Eventually, the wife started getting gigs to promote businesses, she started wearing makeup and I'm not going to lie she's pretty. As time went by they moved out of their one room to a two bedroom flat, life was good for them. After a few months, they started having issues and before we knew it the wife left her husband. The wife started making videos of her going on dates, entering plans, meeting up with friends and all. In fact I saw a particular video she made about how she has now realised her self worth. In my mind I was like, so you need money to realise your self worth or what? Now she has money and new friends and all of a sudden her husband is not a good man, she even did a live video where she was insult!ng him and saying he was impotent. I'm sure you've learnt something even without me saying anything. Good morning 🌞

Nigerians are too docile. A protest against NYSC would be the easiest thing ever. No one needs to hit the streets. There is no risk of bullets or tear gas. Every graduate simply refuses to register. Within 12 months, the FG would cave. But we have useless SUG presidents. – at Uyo, Nigeria

If a police officer invites you to the station on a Friday over a petition, there’s a smart way to handle it: Politely inform them you’re out of town and will be available on Monday. Why? Because weekend bail is not guaranteed, and you don’t want to spend Friday–Sunday as an unplanned “weekend tenant” at the station. Many people don’t know their rights, and ignorance can be costly. Key Tips: (1) You have the right to request a convenient date to appear. (2) Always go with a lawyer or at least inform one. (3) Never ignore the invitation respond respectfully. (4) Document your communication (call, text, or message). Stay informed. Stay smart. Legal knowledge is not for lawyers only, it’s for survival.

Reading quotes and seeing different people give different interpretations to the lines in this song. That’s what rap is, not the one that the rapper will be the one coming to explain his lines and talking about how Ronaldo rhymes with Dodo coz he loves eating Dodo in 1990

If you are rich, help a man today. Men are going through so much struggles, help him fulfill his dreams. In helping men, you are raising future armies of gratitude, souls who will carry your kindness like a crown, and who will never forget you, no matter how high they rise.
