I defo couldn't deal with the stress of taking a learner out on the road. You are training young people for their future - well at least you would be if it wasn't for covid. I hope the govt will play fair or there will be no instructors for the future. #ADIARGSupport

Additional Financial Stress is the last thing an instructor needs when keeping a learner safe! We have enough stress on the roads as it is. Our business costs are £800-£1k per and many have received no income since early December #ADIARGSupport

They need to understand that we have continued to pay business expenses! Just because franchise fees have paused (for SOME not ALL!) we still have cars, insurance & other business expenses to pay!! It wasn’t our choice to stop working #ADIARGSupport @LucyMPowell @AndyBurnhamGM
@ManCityCouncil please tell me how I am supposed to pay my rent, my personal bills, buy food for the month & then pay my BUSINESS EXPENSES from my UC? Please follow government guidance! @LucyMPowell @AndyBurnhamGM @joanneroney #ADIARGSupport

Receipt of SEISS should not prevent Driving Instructors from receiving ARG support. Check points 29 to 31 of government guidelines. @BucksCouncil @gregsmith_uk @CllrPaulIrwin @MATatBucks @bucks_herald @ #ARGADISupport

@BucksCouncil @gregsmith_uk @bucksfreepress @bucks_herald It would be great if Bucks Council would respond the reason they decided not distribute ARG to the self employed who received SEISS, SEISS is for loss of income, ARG for business cost support #ADIARGSupport

We are the people who teach everyone how to be safe on the roads. Is that not worth funding? #ADIARGSupport
@brightonargus @CarolineLucas We’re having to pay business costs despite being forced to stop working. Driving instructors help keep your roads safe yet are getting ZERO support financially #ADIARGSupport

She wore her yellow sun-bonnet,
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour:
"Winter is dead."
