USBP agents apprehended a previously deported Mexican national attempting to illegally enter the U.S. near Progreso, TX. Records checks revealed an active homicide warrant in Mexico.
He now faces federal prosecution for felony illegal reentry before being repatriated to Mexico to face murder charges.
USBP will continue to identify every person attempting to sneak across our border and remove criminal threats before they reach our communities.

Tesla's driverless Robotaxi removes one major risk completely: there is no human driver in the car. That is a big safety win.
