My mother’s friend asked a police officer in Washington how he found the crowd today. His response: “I got a careers worth of thank yous in one shift today!” מי כעמך ישראל

notice how no one at the march in DC are wearing tallitot and tefillin at the rally because they respect them as objects of worship and don’t appropriate them as costumes to “prove” their status as jews to tokenize themselves

Final estimated headcount at the pro-Israel rally in DC: 290,000 people. Makes this the largest Jewish gathering in history since Mount Sinai.

A month ago, at this hour, I had to tell my two daughters - 3.5 years old and 20 months old - that they must remain completely silent. No word, no cry. It was 7AM, they had just woken up in a dark room with no electricity or food, and five people were shouting outside the window.

PAUL KESSLER. KNOW HIS NAME. MURDERED FOR BEING A JEW IN LA. “Pro Palestinian” protester struck him in the head with a megaphone. He was declared dead in the hospital. H”YD. From the river to the sea crowd has now shown the world they also seek to kill Jews in the Diaspora.

"Israel is committing genocide" —every critic “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means” —Inigo Montoya Genocide: “the destruction of a nation or of an ethnic group” or “a coordinated plan of different actions aiming at the destruction of essential foundations of the life of national groups, with the aim of annihilating the groups themselves.” Israel could annihilate all of Gaza & the Palestinians if it wanted. It doesn't because it is not a genocidal nation. quillette.com/2023/11/02/who…

No matter how righteous your cause, if you are tearing down posters showing kidnapped children, you are one of the bad guys.

We asked a Palestinian in Gaza if anyone supports Israel’s campaign to topple Hamas. “The Jews didn’t kill my brother; Hamas did.” We’ve partnered with @PeaceComCenter to gather anonymous testimony from Gazans impacted by the war.

“As a Jew”, the salutation of the modern kapo. If one thing is clear it’s that she isn’t smarter than other people, including those who have been repeatedly concussed.

This is a defining moment in our lifetimes. You now have Jews being attacked on campus, in their homes, on the streets, in random airports and in every major city in the world. The antisemitic genie is out of the bottle. You. Have. To. Pick. A. Side.

Did you think decolonialization was just a seminar? they ask as the mass murder squads roll in. Did you think your land acknowledgment was just empty virtue signaling? Perhaps they won't get a chance to ask it. Or perhaps they will. Whether they do or not, they intend it.

You cannot both sides this war. One side started it. The other side will end it. Any attempted equivalency between the two is morally depraved.

I'm a non-religious Jew. When those who call for "One solution, intifada revolution" they call for not only the destruction of Israel, but the death of Jews around the world. Those who shout this phrase believe our deaths would be justified and righteous as we have brought it on ourselves (and if they don't believe this they should find another phrase to chant). Whether we live in Colorado or Israel or New Jersey or France. Whether we are believers or non-believers. It is because we were born Jewish. They do not mean to spare me. Or my children. Or Jews who are half or a quarter or practicing or non-practicing. Or feel guilty about being Jewish and disavow their Jewishness. Or simply don't identify as Jewish. Or condemn Israel and think it should not exist or simply have no opinion at all. If you are Jewish you are included in that chant. Do not fool yourself. To be clear, I'm not arguing that citizens who chant this here in America should not be allowed to do so. But I'm definitely not feeling that there is a critical mass of people willing to call this view out as fringe. As dangerous. As wrong-headed. It's a view granted credence time and time again as these rallies spread. It is being mainstreamed in real time. And when Jewish students must seek safety in a locked room it goes beyond free speech. If we can't come together to say NO to this call to eliminate, to murder, to commit a genocide of what amounts to .2% of the world's population, I don't know where we go. I find myself in despair. Never again is now.
