They broke Eisenhower’s globe because they didn’t want to wait for a team of specialist historians to move it.
I cannot think of a more apt metaphor for Pete Hegseth’s DoD.

Dockworkers across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas are set to strike on October 30th against imperialist wars.
They plan to shut down 100 ports to demand better wages and an end to their workplaces being used to transport bombs.
Don't ever think internet fame is a way to have a reliable income. It's rigged. You will not succeed longterm.
TikTok just permanently banned my verified page for my advocacy for people with 3.7M followers. I am blacklisted from using Meta. I am demonetized on YouTube.
I lost my college education, career, and now my platforms.
Don’t know what to do right now. If you can support my voice/work please get a subscription to my publication yourfavoriteguy.com if we cannot rally enough support I fear I’ll have no choice but to pause my advocacy while I figure out how to get stable again.

AI copyright lawsuits are coming thick and fast. In just the last couple of weeks:
- USA Today & 18 other papers sued OpenAI
- around 300 authors sued Meta
- a pair of musicians sued Black Forest Labs
The Black Forest Labs one is particularly interesting - I wouldn't be surprised if much bigger music rights holders follow suit.
The pace of arrival of these lawsuits is speeding up, not slowing down.

ACA has served its purpose. Its purpose was to be a bridge to something better. We now need something better.

Cus ACA/Obama care worked sooo well we should let the Dems come up with another absurd plan to raise health care costs more! 🤣😂🤣😂 Dem logic, there is none.
Someone on here asked if algebra, chemistry, and physics classes ever benefitted anyone in real life.
I said yeah, every day, too many ways to list.
I was just now looking up phosphatidyl serine (a supplement my wife takes) to see what it does. Google AI gave me quite a long list of detailed metabolic functions. Including: "When cells undergo apoptosis or platelet activation, PS flips to the outer leaflet of the membrane, serving as an 'eat-me' clearance signal for macrophages or a surface platform for blood coagulation complexes."
I like reading that kind of thing because I took enough classes in college to understand it, and understanding such things benefits me every day.
Yup. That's because corporate culture is shit the world over.

Honestly, companies in socialist countries treat their employees the exact same way.Sick of both.

You don’t find it weird that not a single billionaire wants to end world poverty? Doesn’t it strike you as bizarre that no one with that kind of wealth wants to be the hero who actually solves the world’s biggest problems when they literally could? Isn’t that suspicious?

🚨Breaking news: US. banks are taking hits from AI agents
“findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond”
Predictions:
1. No matter how much chaos generative AI causes, the AI industry will not take real responsibility
2. The Trump administration will not hold them responsible
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.

Now here is something the US corporate media will never show you because it doesn’t fit their Zionist agenda: American Jews protesting against the genocidal state of Israel by burning the Israeli flag in Brooklyn, New York.

Whole country, regardless of political affiliation, is calling for universal health care and the Dems big plan is the same as we currently have, that has people cheering Luigi as a national hero, but slightly better?
The Dems need to embrace universal healthcare.
If helicopters were cheap, every PD would do this every night everywhere.
I remember when Huntington Beach (Calif.) PD could afford helicopters, back in 1970. They had a Hughes 300 (piston powered helicopter; primitive, dangerous) that flew around at night shining their Night Sun spotlight on anyone walking around at 10pm at night.
