This 1/1 NFT changed way more for me than I ever expected… Days before @veecon 2, I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to make it. So instead, I picked up my favorite @veefriends character, this ICONICS 1/1 Earnest Ermine NFT and figured I’d at least rock him as my PFP while everyone else was at VeeCon. Then something crazy happened. Right after I bought it, I landed a big project that gave me the opportunity to make the trip. My first IRL VeeFriends event. And that trip changed everything for me. For the first time, the usernames and PFPs I’d been talking to in Discord and on X became REAL PEOPLE. People I’d laughed with. Learned from. Shared wins with. Spent countless hours talking to. Now we were all in the same place. The speakers were incredible. The amount of information and ACCESS we had blew me away. But there was one moment I’ll never forget. I finally got to meet @garyvee and watch him interact with the community firsthand. At one point, his team came over and told him he needed to leave for the next thing. He didn’t. He stayed. For more than 2 HOURS, continuing to talk, listen, take pictures and spend time with the community. That was the moment I went ALL IN on VeeFriends. I saw a leader who wasn’t just talking about community. He was living it. Since then, watching this IP grow has been incredible. Pins. Cards. Stickers. Books. Comics. Hats. TCG. Livestreams. Collectibles. And so much more. And somehow…it still feels like we’re just getting started. Crazy to think that buying this little 1/1 Earnest Ermine right before VeeCon became the beginning of such a huge chapter for me. I’m stoked for what comes next. ❤️🐹 And if you’re new to VeeFriends… I’m Cowabunga Chan 🤙 Come say hi. I’d love to connect.
