If u think about what bitcoin is, apart from being money, it was a way to attract large amounts of compute and we're finally reaching an era where people are finding ways to make PoW useful. Defenitely recommend you read this about $PRL

In crypto there's three opportunities I see to create a trillion dollar asset: 1. Decentralized Money, Bitcoin has won this 2. Decentralized Private Money, ZCash is running away with the lead 3. ⭐ Decentralized AI Money: this is the most open big game in crypto right now. Pearl, Bittensor, Pluralis, Nockchain, and many others are basically trying to use crypto as a coordination mechanism to stand up to centralized AI in the same way Bitcoin stands up to cerntalized Fiat The opportunity is obvious although the winner is not. The projects building in this direction are taking pretty distinct paths (a good thing in the long run) and the technical understanding required to asses the viability of each approach is pretty high Give this article a read, I think Brian has a really novel perspective on what will work vs what won't, nobody else has written about the scene at this quality & philosophical depth imo

if i understand this correctly, they went from 100% of revenue for buybacks to 50% of revenue for buybacks. that's the actual news here.
Replying to @Pumpfun
Why we burned $370M worth of $PUMP tokens Over the past ~9 months, despite being one of the biggest revenue generating platforms in crypto and allocating 100% of revenue to buybacks, we believe there was a lack of trust - in the longevity of the business, the certainty of buybacks, and what the bought-back tokens would be used for. Today, uncertainty is being addressed head-on by taking a community-first approach. The initial step involves burning ~$370M worth of $PUMP tokens, around ~36% of the circulating supply, as a gesture of trust for the community. The burn occurred today at 20:52 UTC across 2 transactions. View the burn transactions here: solscan.io/tx/5yc86uJeUcoJrs… solscan.io/tx/3yXmFwbvspergx…

Reminder that $btc historically cannot come to consensus about little upgrades like a small block size increase but now has to completely overhaul its cryptography asap
🚨 Google has sounded the quantum alarm 🚨 Today, they released groundbreaking progress towards breaking crypto using a quantum computer. TLDR - Existing cryptography is dead. Mempool attacks are real. We must migrate to post-quantum now. Thread 🧵

In early 2022, a buddy of mine was an LP in one of the big crypto funds at the time. This was before things really blew up but the cracks were already starting to show The GP of the fund reached out to my friend one day, asking for more capital at a 15% guaranteed return. After giving it some thought, my friend called back the next day and requested a full redemption. That fund ended up going belly up later that year Anyways, I think about that story a lot

Think $BTC is super overvalued in comparison to the rest of the altcoin market and the next bull run will fix that. Boomers bid up a coin based on a SoV thesis that isn't even true. It's a completely public gov surveillance chain that doxes your net worth, it is too unscalable for humanity to even use as a SoV (geniunely, we cannot all self custody), miner revenue is going to collapse long term creating a huge security risk and it needs to overhaul a lot of its cryptography to be quantum resistant. All of that on a chain that is infamous for being impossible to update. Without going too schizo, it geniunely feels like it was co-opted by tradfi with the intention of reducing it's usefulness so it poses no real threat. Meanwhile alts have underperformed for an entire cycle whilst actually leading crypto adoption and embodying the original vision that made bitcoin popular in the first place.

Imagine $BTC quantum fud starts getting real, all whilst the real bitcoin $BCH becomes quantum proof, scalable, private and programmable.
$BCH quietly moving into the top 14 by market cap and chart started looking completely different after 2025. Guess bitcoin branding + not being cucked tech wise is making people view this as a viable store of value now?
