Okay, I sat down and translated parts of yet another pompous statement from Jared Kushner about Trump’s incredible peace initiatives, explaining what his carefully worded euphemisms actually mean, so you don’t have to.
“…the need for a broader European security architecture that can help establish the conditions for lasting peace…”
= “Europe will have to completely capitulate to Putin, make him the master of the continent, and live under his dictates, because we’re absolutely itching to get our hands on Lukoil’s foreign assets.”
“For more than 30 years, Europe and Russia have struggled to establish a sustainable security framework.”
= “For decades, Europe and the entire West enjoyed peace and stability, until Putin, in his old age, suddenly got the itch to conquer Ukraine again, fucked it up spectacularly, and now somehow that’s everybody else’s problem.”
“Our objective is to develop practical arrangements that address the security concerns of all sides, reduce the risk of future conflict, and create a more stable and predictable security environment.”
= “You will be required to surrender everything and remain defenseless, while Putin will give you absolutely nothing in return and won’t be obliged to do a damn thing.”
“Decades of mistrust, competing security concerns, and the devastating consequences of this war make this an extraordinarily difficult challenge, but one that is essential to lasting peace.”
= “And we’re also going to blame you and Ukraine for Russia’s aggressive imperialism.”
“Any arrangements must fully respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independent decision-making of every nation.”
= “And Putin will decide where your sovereignty begins and ends, where your borders lie, and just how much independence you’re allowed to have.”
“Each country will retain authority over its own security and alliances, and no country would have a veto over another’s sovereign choices.”
= “Yes, unless Putin decides that you’re not actually a real country at all, but an inseparable part of Russia’s sphere of influence, and that your ability to defend yourself against an invasion constitutes an existential threat to Russia.”
“We will consult closely with our European partners on the sidelines and, if progress is made, aim to move toward a broader multilateral format with their direct participation.”
= “Nobody is going to discuss a damn thing with Ukraine or Europe. There won’t be, and never has been, anything here except our attempts to sell out and betray you to Putin for the highest possible price. And I’ll throw in a whole bunch of meaningless, boilerplate diplomatic phrases to make this bullshit look vaguely serious and respectable.”
“There are no easy solutions.”
= “Russia could simply get the hell out of Ukraine and stop launching wars of aggression whenever it wants, but that’s not what Putin is promising us money for.”
“We will see how these discussions develop and continue working intensively with all parties toward President Trump’s objective of a comprehensive and lasting peace.”
= “Of course, absolutely nothing will come of any of this, just as nothing has come of all the previous years of these ridiculous ‘negotiations,’ during which we’ve been actively helping Putin wage his war. But we couldn’t care less. That’s not what we’re here for.”

Russia does not need another security agreement. It has the world’s largest nuclear arsenal, and absolutely nobody in Europe has the slightest desire to invade or occupy that miserable country.
What Kushner is describing as some magnificent new European security architecture is, essentially, the security system Europe already had before Russia decided international law was optional and its neighbours’ territory was available for collection.
We had treaties. We had security guarantees. We had diplomatic consultations. We had internationally recognised borders.
Russia violated them, invaded Ukraine, annexed its territory and turned European security into a catastrophe.
The problem was never a shortage of agreements. The problem was Russia’s refusal to honour them.
And now Washington apparently believes the solution is to sit down with Moscow and invent another agreement.
Brilliant. Perhaps this time Putin could promise to behave himself in writing.
Oh, wait. He already did.

🚨 Mr. Lavrov, it is possible to look a Russian minister in the eye and tell him the truth. But the truth is far more brutal than any diplomatic discourse.
Let’s talk about numbers. About blood. About mass graves. About children torn from their families.
Since February 24, 2022, according to United Nations verifications, at least 16,431 civilians—including 803 children—have been killed in Ukraine. Another 48,613 civilians have been wounded. And these are only the verified figures; the actual toll could be even higher.
Let’s talk about Bucha, where, following the withdrawal of Russian troops, streets were found strewn with corpses, alongside mass graves and evidence of summary executions.
Let’s talk about Izium, where, after the city’s liberation, a vast burial site was discovered containing hundreds of graves, including those of civilians.
Let’s talk about children who have been deported—forcibly transferred, separated from their parents, and stripped of their identities and any chance of returning home. The UN International Commission of Inquiry has verified over 1,200 cases of the deportation or forced transfer of children, classifying these actions as crimes against humanity.
And then there are the bombed-out cities, the hospitals struck, the schools destroyed, the homes razed to the ground, the prisoners tortured, and entire families wiped out.
This is not a diplomatic dispute. It is not a matter of geopolitical leanings. It is a human tragedy and a question of international law.
To those who speak of peace, we ask: what kind of peace? A peace that rewards the aggressor? A peace that forgets those who have been deported? The kind that leaves families without their children and consigns the victims in mass graves to silence?
Peace without justice is merely a surrender imposed upon the victims.
Russia must withdraw its troops, return the deported children, answer for the crimes committed, and allow justice to be served.
We will not forget Bucha. We will not forget Izium. We will not forget the abducted children. We will not forget Ukraine.
And above all: we will not allow time to turn these crimes into something normal.
🇺🇦 JUSTICE FOR UKRAINE. FREEDOM FOR HER CHILDREN.

The russian propaganda here pushes the narrative that the aid distribution center in Komyshuvakha was a drone factory. Their cynicism and lies have no end.
It is important to commemorate the lives and tell the stories of russian victims in that barbaric attack.
Lyubov Krasnova, 74, was murdered in the school shelter by the russian glide bomb. She came there for food, but died along dozens of her fellow villagers. She didn't flee Komyshuvakha since she was caring for her bedridden husband.
She is survived by him, two daughters and four grandchildren.

When Putin seized Crimea, both Europe and America were quite openly making calls, holding meetings, and sending signals to the Ukrainians who were in power at the time that there should be no escalation – let's just keep things friendly and leave things as they are for now. And we lost Crimea. After that, we lost part of Donbas. But the shooting in the east continued. There was no peace.
People think we were always helped. That is not true. Help started coming after the full-scale invasion, but that was after eight years of Russia occupying our territory. That is a long time to figure things out and understand that Putin has no intention of giving anything back to us.
At one point, some Europeans asked me: “Why do you think that if you withdraw from Donbas, he will go further?” And I answered: “Because at the beginning of the war, he wasn't seizing Donbas. He came to the capital. He seized parts of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, Kherson itself, and Kharkiv region.” We have retaken a lot of territory, but he had seized different parts of our country. And now they want us to give them something because they are unable to seize it. We may have a smaller territory, less money, and fewer weapons, but we still have more dignity than many others. We will do everything we can to end this war, but it must end in a way that preserves our dignity.

🇩🇪🇺🇦🚀 Zelensky:
“Taurus” is a sensitive topic. Now I will explain why. This will be both an explanation and an answer to some skeptics who say: “We are helping Ukraine, but what does Ukraine do for us?” Here is an example. The IRIS-T air defense system.
We made IRIS-T the number one brand in the world after “Patriots”, which are anti-ballistic. Now this system costs from 600 thousand to about a million - one and a half million. This war did this.
It also tightened up all the problematic issues, because only in a real war can you really get rid of the weaknesses of this or that defense. Germany has a queue for orders for 10-20 years. The cost of the missile has increased many times, dozens of times. And all this is jobs.
Why do we want to order “Taurus”? Because when the Americans couldn’t give us anti-ballistic missiles for air defense, we have only one way out: to destroy the Russian launchers. They have built entire sites and are killing us, and we can’t defend ourselves. These are not civilian objects, not infrastructure, not energy. That’s why we really wanted to order the Taurus. Not just order them, but also test them. This is beneficial for both sides.

A man and a woman walk into the same surgery with the same problem, and she walks out with worse advice, every time, by design.
He is told to eat more protein. She is told to eat less, and has been told it since she was fourteen.
He is told to lift something heavy. She is told to walk it off, keep it light, and mind she does not get bulky, as if muscle were a thing that happened to women by accident.
He is told a steak is a good dinner. She is told a steak is a treat, to have the salad, and to be good.
He is given 2,500 calories to live on. She is given 1,200, which is the ration of a besieged city, and told that the hunger is proof it is working. She has been hungry for thirty years and has never once been told that was the problem.
He gets the full-fat version. She gets the one with a woman in a white vest on the lid, the fat taken out and the sugar put back in to hide the theft.
He is told to eat red meat for his iron. She is told to eat spinach for hers, and loses blood every month for forty years on the advice of a leaf.
He is told his tiredness is worth a test. She is told hers is her age, her hormones, her stress or the children, in that order, for a decade, and the test she finally gets comes back within range, which is the end of the conversation.
He is told to cut the carbs at fifty. She is told wholegrains will see her through the menopause, at the one moment in her life her body can no longer handle them, and when the weight arrives anyway she is told that is just what happens now.
He is told his belly is a risk. She is told to lose a stone before anyone will look at anything else, on the diet that put the stone there.
He gets a plan. She gets a club, a weigh-in, a sticker, and the quiet understanding that if it fails the fault is hers.
Forty years of being told she is the difficult patient, and the one diet that hands her the plate he was always given is the one they call extreme.
Beef, eggs, butter, until full. No ration, no small plate, no club, no being good.
It works harder on her than it ever does on him, because she has further to come back from. The weight, the sleep, the fog, the joints, the thyroid nobody looked at, the hunger she thought was her personality, all of it going, for the price of being fed like a human being instead of a customer.
She was never failing the advice. The advice was built to keep her small, and she did it perfectly.
The dinner he was having all along was the fix.

BREAKING: "THE BAD GUYS LOST" Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed brings down the roof with a victory speech for the ages — and calls out JD Vance with a hilarious jab.
A beautiful day is dawning in America...
"We showed that in a battle between the money and the many that the many really can win," said El-Sayed. "And so to all the kids who watched this last month, to all the parents who struggled to explain why the President openly mocked someone for their name or how they pray, let them know tomorrow that the bad guys lost!"
It's hard to even describe how satisfying this victory is. Mike Rogers ran the most disgustingly racist, Islamophobic campaign in recent memory. He and Trump relentlessly attacked El-Sayed for his name, the color of his skin, and his religion. None of it worked. The people of Michigan rose up, rejected bigotry, and voted for the man who wants to get money out of politics, money in their pockets, and Medicare for All.
"We won, so Mike, enjoy your retirement. I know you got a house in Florida and two yachts. See, you chose hate and Michigan chose hope," said El-Sayed. "May we never have to see the likes of you in this state again."
But perhaps the funniest part of El-Sayed's speech was when he brought up Vance, with whom he has been feuding back and forth with for months.
"JD, habibi, there is this delicious irony in the fact that you're constitutionally obligated to swear me in in January, so you know what that means," said El-Sayed. "Wolverine 1, Buckeye 0."
"Donald, look, I know you struggled with my name, so after JD swears me in in January, you can just go on and call me Senator," he added.
Senator-elect El-Sayed, you are the very best this country has to offer. Congrats on running an incredible campaign and defeating these fascist monsters!
Please ❤️ and share if you think Abdul El-Sayed has a long, bright future in American politics!
