I've been fascinated by this sign ever since I saw it on TV as a kid. I always thought it was right behind the Green Monster and I was shocked when I finally visited the park in person how far away it actually is from the park. That's one seriously big sign!

News: The Citgo Sign is being moved. It will go dark for at least 6 months as crews prepare to move it 120 feet east and 30 feet upward from its current location. It is unclear how this will impact its view from Fenway Park. (via @bycathcarlock)
