Four years ago, Pres. Biden nominated Scott Colom to serve as a federal judge in Mississippi.
Mississippi Republican Senator Roger Wicker supported the nomination of Mr. Colom. The state's other senator, Cindy Hyde-Smith, refused to do so based on absurd claims.
Mr. Colom reached to Sen. Hyde-Smith to address her concerns and respectfully point out misunderstandings on her part and appeal to her better angels.
Other prominent Mississippi Republicans reached out to Sen. Hyde-Smith asking her to reconsider and support Mr. Colom's nomination.
She still refused, effectively killing his nomination for no good reason.
She's now on the verge of losing her seat to Scott Colom, who would have never been a threat if she had supported his judicial nomination.

Ohio voted for Donald Trump in 2024. Two years later, Amy Acton won the governor's race.
So what changed? These three maps tell the story of how Acton flipped eight Trump counties and gained ground in all 88 ‡οΈ

If Scott Colom wins MS, with almost no national level support, it would probably be because of this most brilliant ad out of the entire campaign cycle.

The big lesson of the Biden years is that you have to prosecute these people. You canβt just move on. You need to make the next generation of grifters and hate mongers scared for their lives.

This victory is just the beginning.
Now, we get to work building an Ohio where every family has the chance to do more than just get by β they can get ahead.
That starts with lowering costs, creating opportunity, and making sure every Ohioan has the chance to build a great life.
A new day for Ohio starts now.

π¨ WARNING What I'm hearing here on the ground in Tennessee: Trump wants Pete Hegseth OUT, and Governor-elect Marsha Blackburn is likely to appoint him to her U.S. Senate seat in January.
Hegseth already established residency in Tennessee, and the move would conveniently allow him to escape the threat of being impeached and removed from his Cabinet position.
Nothing confirmed, but based on what I'm hearing, I'd put the chances of this happening at 75%.
The only thing worse than Secretary Hegseth would be SENATOR Hegseth.
