I thought PHP was dead, why is over 80% of services affected by this attack?

Many moons ago, when we were about to start developing our logistics app, we faced a dilemma: what tech stack should we build with? 😭
Do we go fully native with Kotlin and Swift, or cross-platform with Flutter or React Native?
After a lot of deliberation, we settled on React Native, supercharged with Expo. Faster iteration, a shared codebase, and easier maintenance made it the better choice for our team.
React Native was developed by Meta and is still used across its products. Expo has also powered apps like Starlink and Grok, so we weren’t exactly experimenting with an unproven stack.
One thing I particularly enjoyed was the flexibility. When the existing contact-syncing solution didn’t meet our needs, we wrote custom native code and integrated it into our Expo app.
No drag-and-drop builders. Actual code, written by us, with a little help from some very capable AI models. 😂
Some of the libraries in our React Native toolkit include:
React Native Reanimated - smooth animations
React Native Gesture Handler - gestures and interactions
gorhom/bottom-sheet - interactive bottom sheets
React Native SVG - SVG rendering
Expo Location - location services
React Native Maps - maps and markers
Expo Contacts - contacts access
Expo Router - navigation and routing
The result? A functional, smooth logistics app with the flexibility to keep building without maintaining two entirely separate native codebases.
Looking back, I’m happy with our decision.
If you're planning to launch a logistics tech business in 2026, you don't have to start from scratch. The @ServiceBlocks team has a working prototype, and we'd be happy to walk you through a live demo.

I used to treat LinkedIn like a job. Once I missed a day of posting, I’d feel like I’d lost consistency and just stop until I was ready to fully commit again
Recently, I said fuck it. No content calendar, no pressure. I just started reposting whatever I share here on X.
And guess what? I got my first serious lead from LinkedIn today, and we’ve scheduled a call for Saturday.
Really hoping it goes well.
