So Microsoft surface promotes a trade in for old Intel MacBook pros... I say...great...I am in... Put in the details... Trade in is worth 18 dollars... For an admittedly old but working fine macbook... That is sure way of ensuring I never look at the produc... Hell i am better off running Llama and deepseek on it as a server...than to trade it in for 18 dollars

Now... If you think your communication strategy is challenged, the first thing you do is offer the job of press secretary to Dana White, the CEO of UFC. Makes perfect sense. Why didn't Trump think of it before?

Good luck to the clients of the firm totally run by AI... I understand how it helps the service provider... How it helps a client...because...you know AI...woohoo...is totally beyond me...
The gap between investors who’ve embraced ai (especially in research + admin) and those who haven’t is staggering One of the best I know said 90%+ of firms work is now Ai / automated Another sole practitioner has a whole firm run by grok bots Era of agentic investing is here

Tomorrow is Diwali...a special time...especially this year... really special this year...and i have one person to thank for it...thank you Bo...to make it happen...I am indebted to you for the rest of my life...it couldn't have happened without you...
I heard UT graduation this year looked like this. I didn’t believe it. The problem is now obviously far worse than anyone imagined.

If you want to learn about the circle of life in short order...get into gardening... If you want to learn about the two tiered society...get into gardening...you know annuals and perennials and all... If you want to learn about nurturing...get into gardening...you will care more about your plants more so than your ungrateful children..:) obligatory emoji. Its been a great few years...highly recommend it. Even if it involves just pot.

They said there were always signs...and markers...and it's on us because we miss it in our frenzy... Evidence number 113468734
This might be the dumbest thing I've ever read from a "early Anthropic backer" per the FT article: “If [public market investors] are not seeing the narrative at this point, they are failing a basic IQ test. The next Google is dancing naked in front of you. If you can’t see the value of it, you don’t deserve to make money.” I know the guy is talking his book, but come on. Google went public at a $23B valuation at about 7x forward sales (compared to Anthropic, which based on current $80B ARR is close to 20x at a $1.5 trillion valuation) with virtually no competition outside of pretty much just Yahoo. AI right now is both the most competitive and capital-intensive industry in years (if not in history) But then again maybe he knows something we don't and they cure cancer next year

Why would the Chinese try to honeypot a loser...they may be misguided but certainly not stupid...
I don't want to rush to judgement but Jensen Huang being honeypotted by a Chinese spy sounds a like something someone who woke up a loser might do

So today I spent pulling out or cutting down that i planted over the last 9 months... A sad...but at the same time a clearing event... You know perennials are good...they will come back... Its the annuals that are challenging... You spend a lot of time and energy... And have to do them again...next spring... I am new to gardening and it clearly shows...otherwise it would be chop chop chop...

I had a grand time digging out the dahlia tibers today. I planted four tubers of really expensive dahlias... A great litter...my first go around...so very exciting.. Lots of dahlia plants for my backyard next spring... Looking forward to it

This is why drug development is very different from coding...and why AI may alter the process of compound identification but potentially not change the outcome...LpA and inflammation...the universally agreed on markers of CAD...and not an iota of evidence to the efficacy of lowering those markers... nytimes.com/2026/11/07/scien…
