Why are recipe websites so terrible to view on your phone? Very difficult just to see the ingredients and steps without a ton of ads and the page losing where you are, which is amplified while you’re cooking. Seems like a handy browser feature to show recipes very cleanly.

Sometimes the ‘why’ part of a user story causes us to stop and realize we really don’t need to build this feature at all.
Probably the most important thing to capture on a story card, & the thing that ppl almost always omit, is _why_ a user in some role wants to do that chunk of domain-level work. What's the value of the work? Dump the "as-a-I need" garbage. Capture who, what, why in a few sentences
Amazing how companies shoot themselves in the foot with bad practices. It’s not a hidden secret how to do product development well, lots of material published on this!
Incredible how some “traditional” companies operate. A well-known bank in a country has a Tech team and an Architecture team. Architecture does not report to - or is related - to Tech. They make all the Tech architecture decisions. The Architects don’t even come from Tech.

APIs and webhooks - all our data is available to clients via our APIs and webhooks, that way client applications don’t have to do the heavy lifting of fintech but can still be kept up to date in real-time. (5/6)

More money plus more learning/growth if you change companies more often.
You’ll increase your $$$$ significantly by changing companies every 1-2 years. Companies will ask you why you’ve changed jobs so much. The real answer: those same companies built a system that rewards outside candidates more than internal talent.

Competition is fierce in fintech and it seems like so many companies are doing the same thing, yet @Square and @CashApp continue to find a way to be different. Why hasn’t any other bank or neobank done this already? cash.app/taxes
