What if-- The way that energy works means that when you’re thinking about someone, that person also starts to think about you? Only we’re all such poor communicators that we never know?

A lot of folks have been asking: Are we going to change our name? Nope! AIPAC is shuttering the AIPAC PAC, but will continue operating their already existing United Democracy Project super PAC, which we have always tracked, along with all the others in the pro-Israel PAC ecosystem. Imagine seeing a man from the Epstein files with a girl this young and your takeaway is "she's a gold digger." So pathetic.
FLAVIO BRIATORE IS OUT HERE WITH A WOMAN YOUNG ENOUGH TO BE HIS GRANDDAUGHTER. BRO IS 76 AND STILL DATING LIKE HE'S 22. LET'S BE FUCKING HONEST. IF HE WAS BROKE, WOULD SHE EVEN LOOK HIS WAY? MONEY REALLY IS THE ULTIMATE FUCKING BEAUTY FILTER.

The Democrats need to immediately move for new leadership. Not only in the House and Senate but at the party level. DNC head Ken Martin refuses to recognize that people voted to stop ICE kidnappings. Stop funding genocide. It’s not just the issues centrist shitheads think are important.

Thinking that he had anything to do with the victory is absurd. The DNC intentionally dropped the ball on several races that should have been won and managed to stay out of the way in places where wins were big. The DNC is THE problem. Anyone who works in politics knows this.
Not long ago critics called for his resignation. This week, DNC Chair @kenmartin73 delivered Democrats their largest victory in 50 years. Martin told me those critics have yet to reach out with congrats but said he's unconcerned as the DNC prepares for 2028 and beyond. newsweek.com/dnc-chair-ken-m…

“I regret not spending more against Angie” instead of “I regret not investing more in our nominee, Angie” is a willllld take Especially when your last filing shows you’re sitting on a $4m+ war chest. @AngieNixon crushed the primary because she focused on the issues of affordability, and met her neighbors where they were at. She closed a 16-point gap from ‘22 to a slim 2-point margin this election. Angie & her team are the reason Florida is in play for ‘28. Angie & her team deserve their flowers & well deserved rest for helping break the FL Republican supermajority.
Now that the midterms are over, let me correct the record.  -I wasn't handpicked by Chuck Schumer. I didn't even talk to the man until after I announced.  I’m not sure exactly what a corporate or establishment Dem is, but I’m pretty sure it’s not a first-time candidate or a career military guy. Call me a moderate, I’ll take it. I always think big, but I don’t let idealism get in the way of getting a job done. I’m practical and would take Medikids and lower age limits for Medicare to expand healthcare and drive down costs over nothing at all. In 2028 after a Dem trifecta, I expect bold moves. -Be an asshole and call me a carpetbagger! So I moved here four years ago, AFTER SERVING IN THE FOR 21 years. I'm here with my family, raising my daughter, and caring for my elderly parents in SoFlo. I decided to run because it was clear that the midterms would trigger a Blue Tsunami, because Trump sucks. And I saw a path to win the general election. I jumped-in to help. Call it a call to serve. Same one from a lifetime of service. Let's just say I was very skeptical, because hey its Florida, but I wasn't going to sit on my ass when the stakes were so high. No I didn’t move to Florida to run for Senate! 🙄 -I have some regrets, but even in losing, I delivered 1.5M to Florida candidates and to races that would have otherwise been left short-changed. I feel that in some small way I pitched in to help break the super majorities in the Florida House and Senate. -I invested 3M in total to campaigns and parties around the country including Iowa, Ohio, Alaska, etc., including in Kansas and South Carolina when few were looking there. -I wish I had chosen to outspend Angie 20, 10, or even 5 to 1 on the primary. I only spend 2:1 on the primary. Obviously a HUGE mistake. I was too focused on defeating Moody and building real democratic power. -Angie was tireless in making her case to primary voters, while I was trying to connect with potential crossover voters without first securing my base.  -I neglected to heed the old maxim always fight and finish the battle in front of you. -I never took a penny from AIPAC. Those claiming otherwise, when they knew better, were playing to the old Jewish dual allegiance troupe.

The guy who just flipped Mississippi blue says fuck Israel and AIPAC.
Let me be clear: I will never take a penny from AIPAC or Super PACs that don’t put Mississippi and America first. This Senate seat belongs to the people of Mississippi. That’s who I’ll answer to.

Angie Nixon didn’t win her Democratic primary because of a weak state party. Voters chose her over a candidate who outspent her 10 to 1. Also no one outside of the national media bubble saw her through the lens of “DSA,” which is part of the reason she beat back the GOP caricature of that label, and shows the limits of this sort of analysis. Actual people chose an actual person — let’s start there
Ezra Klein on the electoral performance of El-Sayed, Peggy Flanagan and Angie Nixon: Angie Nixon—I don't think there's any reason to look at the results and say it was a brilliant strategic move to run the DSA candidate in Florida. Sometimes people take statements about electoral performance as moral statements about the worth of a candidate or the ideas. That's crazy in my view.

Salon was the first media outlet that ever employed me. They gave me full editorial independence -- the right to upload my articles and columns with no editorial interference -- and, unlike others, always honored it. I won't comment on what they became, but David Talbot's creation was one of the pioneers of what became independent online media. RIP
Today, after 31 years, we are saddened to announce that Salon is ceasing publication. It has been an extraordinary privilege. salon.com/2026/11/05/goodbye…

Big Symone Sanders "there will be no primary" energy. How did that turn out?
Rep. Jasmine Crockett a week before election day: "Nobody is going to run against Hakeem Jeffries. He's not going to even have a race. I don't care who's yelling about they're not supporting Jeffries. They're going to vote for Jeffries, and frankly, because it is a secret ballot on all of these races, they can say whatever they want to say. And they'll do whatever they want to do"

At @TrackAIPAC, we set out to make AIPAC as politically toxic as the NRA. This year, we were able to turn their millions of dollars from a strategic advantage into a liability. We’re still crunching the numbers, but without question, we forced them to spend more and lose.
A striking stat re AIPAC performance in the midterms. In 2022, almost 70% of its funds went into races where it got the desired result. In 2024, it was 87%. In 2026, that figure is 34%. responsiblestatecraft.org/ai…

If Platner hadn’t killed off Janet Mills’s campaign, she’d have been the Dem nominee, Troy Jackson would have been out, and Mills (the Dem establishment pick) would have likely lost to Collins. That’s the real counterfactual, like it or not. Jackson got the W and that’s that.
If you’re blaming Troy Jackson’s underperformance in Maine on anyone other than Graham Platner, you’re utterly unserious

"More than 234 candidates supported by AIPAC members have already won," 234 primary targets acquired!
AIPAC congratulates the hundreds of pro-Israel Democrats and Republicans who won their elections last night. More than 234 candidates supported by AIPAC members have already won, with many additional races still too close to call. We congratulate Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries on the resounding victories for their caucuses. AIPAC members are determined to expand their political activism in the cycles ahead. Our community will increase its support for Democrats and Republicans who recognize that a strong partnership with Israel helps keep both countries secure, advances peace and stability, promotes democratic values, and grows our economy through trade and innovation.

The top issue in exit polls for voters was corruption. Just because impeachment didn’t work last time doesn’t mean it won’t again. Times have changed and people are much angrier about Trump’s corruption now than they were before. You got a majority to address voters’ concerns.
Jeffries: "I haven't had a single member of the House Democratic caucus talk to me about impeachment. We've been relentlessly focused on affordability and accountability."
