दैनिक भास्कर की खबर के मुताबिक, राजस्थान कैडर के वरिष्ठ आईएएस शिखर अग्रवाल, उनकी आईपीएस पत्नी प्रशाखा माथुर, दोनों बेटों और सास-ससुर ने ढाई साल में एक ही कंपनी गोयल फैशंस प्राइवेट लिमिटेड से कुल 40 विला और कॉटेज खरीदे हैं। उदयपुर के बुझड़ा स्थित अनंता रिसॉर्ट में 20 कॉटेज सितंबर 2023 में तथा अलवर के अजबगढ़ स्थित अनंता रिसॉर्ट में 20 विला मार्च 2026 में रजिस्टर्ड हुए।
इन संपत्तियों की कुल कीमत 6.15 करोड़ रुपये बताई गई है। खरीद के साथ ही इन्हें उसी कंपनी को लीज पर दे दिया गया, जिससे सालाना 1.80 करोड़ रुपये का किराया मिल रहा है। बुझड़ा में शिखर और प्रशाखा ने 10-10 विला खरीदे, जबकि अजबगढ़ में परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों के नाम पर भी रजिस्ट्री हुई। दोनों जगहों पर सेल और लीज डीड एक साथ रजिस्टर्ड किए गए।
शिखर और प्रशाखा के नाम पर कुल 28 विला-कॉटेज हैं, जिनमें से 14 की जानकारी आईपीआर में दी गई है। शिखर का कहना है कि खरीद की पूरी जानकारी रिटर्न और आईपीआर में दी गई है तथा बच्चों ने अलग से संपत्ति खरीदी है।

Housing societies can at times come across literally existing in a little world of their own- distant and deranicated- but they can be a good thing as well. This is such a fine piece in their praise.
The medicine has turned to be disease. So many stories about this engineering failure but one hardly reads any explanation or fixing of accountability from PWD.
Its babus must be drooling over the budget they will get to fix the problems they created.
Countless gullible people, esp sr citizens, fall to the misselling of life insurance policies.
Ironically, it is the govt-owned LIC which pioneered this deceit. Its agents profitted at the cost of the common man, esp when it had a monopoly. Vested interests will resist reforms.

अभी कुछ देर पहले मेरा एक मित्र नोएडा सेक्टर 128 के आसपास नोएडा - ग्रेटर नोएडा हाईवे पर जा रहा था । रास्ते में उसे एक मोटरसाइकिल सवार दुर्घटनाग्रस्त अवस्था में दिखा । कोई गाड़ी उसे मारकर भाग गई थी और वो गंभीर हालत में रोड पर पड़ा था । एक अच्छे राहगीर का फ़र्ज़ निभाते हुए उसने एम्बुलेंस बुलाने और पुलिस को जानकारी देने के लिए इमरजेंसी नंबर 112 पर कॉल किया । कॉल एक महिला ने उठाया तो सही लेकिन मेरे मित्र से सवालों की बौछार लगा दी । वो बार बार ये जानना चाह रही थी कि दुर्घटना वाला क्षेत्र किस थाना के अंदर पड़ता है । अब कोई बताएगा कि किसी राहगीर को रात के अंधेरे में दौड़ती भागती सड़क पर वहां के थाना का पता कैसे चलेगा । इस पूरी में बातचीत काफ़ी वक्त ज़ाया होता है , ख़ासकर गंभीर दुर्घटना के मामले में ।
मेरा ख़्याल है कि 112 पर कॉल करने वाले का लोकेशन पता चल जाता है । जब उसने बता दिया कि वो घटनास्थल पर ही मौजूद है तो तुरंत नजदीकी थाने को सूचना दी जानी चाहिए ।
ये भी विचार करना चाहिए कि अगर इतने सवाल पूछे जाएंगे तो कोई राहगीर किसी की मदद करने से ही कतराने लगेगा । जो भी क़ानूनी औपचारिकताएं हैं वो दुर्घटनाग्रस्त व्यक्ति के लिए एम्बुलेंस भेजने के बाद भी तो हो सकती है । इस पहलू पर तुरंत ध्यान दिए जाने की ज़रूरत है ।

@DTDCIndia has to be the worst courier service in the country. After misplacing my courier, they have tagged it as delivered. Complaints through website and email does not solve the problem. And when you call customer support, they talk so rudely and disconnect the call without answering any question.
Some incompetence this.
